Damn good time for just taking it easy Im sure he knows he can go faster but why risk thousands of $ in damage or totalling it by breaking parts at 100 plus? Ive done runs at LACR, Famoso same car powershifting and shifting super quick Wasnt even .10 difference so why bother? All you chit talkers never owned a car or worked hard for something...never say behind a mans back what you wouldnt say to their face. Life lessons 101 Love to know some engine details of that beast!

Brings back some great memories of going drag racing with my late brother. He had a wicked 69 Nova SS with a 427 in it…11 flat at just over 120 at the traps. I always remember when we pulled into car shows people just stopped and stared. That car had the best cam idle ever and it’d shake the windows in the house.

When I was 20 y.o. @ orange county raceway in California,,,in my 67' ss 396 4 speed chevelle,,, running 13.07 shifting like this guy does, my older brother was in the bleachers watching me run,,, and he said ,,,,,, why are you letting off between gears??? I said,,,, I don't want to break anything,,,he laughed,,, and said next pass Don't let up powershift it,,, I said ok,,, guess what? 12:77@ 107 m.p.h. and from that day till now @70 y.o. I never let off between gears, and I've owned four speed car's all my life,,, and never broke a trans, or clutch,,, R.I.P. BRO,,, F.y.i. I currently have a 70' 4 speed nova small block, that turns 10: 49 @ 128 mph,,and a 66' buick gran sport factory 4 speed,, also have a factory 4 speed 65' comet! That runs mid 12 second passes,,, I picked up 3 tens of a second by powershifting,,, and the rest is history,,,,

What transmission/shifter are you running? I have a Muncie m21 with a hurst shifter but I feel like I have damn near a foot of travel between 1/2 and 3/4.

That 302 z engine is great why don't people make them is it not possible to build one now a days out of a small block if you have tge right cam and bore size they rev so high its amazing
