  My grandmother was a Ziegfeld girl. I don't know if any of these photos was her since I don't know what she looked like back then, long before I was born. Although, even at 80+, she had one heck of a set of legs.

  That FACE (0:15). I wasn't alive - during most of the 20th century, but, thank goodness, I had people who taught me, and one thing we did, was go to (some of) the few) remaining 'retro' houses, where I got an education in the silents. I've been enjoying my (quiet, alone) day, today, just watching Louise Brooks œuvre - Marvellous.

  Kenneth Nappe Yes. No tattoos - the new sexy. Surprisingly contemporary looking photos. Colorize a few of those and there'd be no telling when they were taken. Except for the lack of tattoos.

  Wild Rover And tattoos are/were a masculine zeitgeist. And a zeitgeist of a male demographic that wasn't even good. The very description of 'tramp stamp' doesn't seem to matter.
