I’m not sure why, but I’m always surprised people genuinely like me as a friend, especially since I feel like I can have a really annoying personality when I get comfortable around them. Like when I first meet people I’m extremely quiet and might make like one joke or sarcastic comment, and then not say anything else until I get to know the people more. After that, though, I feel like I’m a bit much, and that people are just pretending to like listening to me yap about the most random things ever. So it’s just unbelievable that someone might admire me or have a crush on me. I’ve only known of two guys in my whole life who liked me. One was all the way back in third grade and I literally ran away. The other was at a random track meet, and a guy from another school asked me for my snap, insta, and then number because he recognized that I also did throwing. I said no to him too because I don’t have social media and don’t give out my number, plus I’m not interested in having a relationship in high school. I don’t know though, like I still don’t believe it.
