    Correct Kung Fu must be taught thoroughly and properly. Most of the movements demonstrated in this video are not being demonstrated correctly. It appears to be copied rather than learnt. Totally ineffective.

    I left a positive message in the comments. I can see what you see, however, there is NOTHING we can say to such people that will get them to a master. These people also make it easier for those who learned properly. The ones imitating will use muscle mass, strength in the muscles rather than bone structure, and they will never learn the higher levels of wing chun "Accept what comes" as they will always fight force with force, not bone structure, physics, and a relaxing speed. In the end, if you run around correcting those doing it wrong online, you'll only find yourself pointing out bad implementations nonstop everywhere. Facebook also has tons of Wing Chun groups that put out videos that are sometimes far more ridiculous and even dangerous for the student as it will get them hurt if they try it in a fight. A love for Wing Chun will generate a loyalty and zealousness, but nothing you say will change them. Even touching hands with them and correcting them via sparring, doesn't change them. They will always be loyal to a bad teacher. After all the title has Ling Ting in the name. *sighs* I've never in my life meet anyone studying under Ling Ting that were even close.

    Having studied and practiced this for years, I can tell you it's great if you're weak, lack confidence and don't want to win actual fights against dangerous people. Learn Judo/Karate/Boxing/MauyThai and BJJ.

  • @rationalgazer
    @rationalgazer3 ай бұрын

    @markmessi9020 it's no more effective than raining any other form of blow. If anything, it leaves you vulnerable to angle shifts and getting turned off balance... it's genuinely pure silliness... dropping elbows is far, far more useful and allows you to maintain balance and guard. Not to mention, centreline punches are wet farts...
