Crimson Sweet are great. Open pollinated so you can save seed. You're doing a great job in little space.

May is the absolute worst time to start Collards here in S Florida. It's just way too hot! 🥵 I start mine in the cooler months. Fish emulsion is the best. I also use bonemeal and bloodmeal.

Excellent tips thanks so much since I moved to Oklahoma I’ve had a hard time doing collards we live in a very wooded area so we get about six hours of sun a day, so I’ll try some of your tips see what happens

Japanese beetles lay their eggs in the soil. The grub worms are basicallytheir babies. It's the larvae of the Japanese beetle.
