@groupimaging2 жыл бұрын
we used 2lb eps foam and created a hollow box and glued it together for the body. then we made more pieces on our cnc router with the detail and glued them to the faces. we coated it with a bedliner spray machine for a hard coat and then hand painted it. I hope that helps.

any idea if the polyurea comes to be applied by brush?
@groupimaging2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, it cures in 10 seconds when part A contacts part B. not possible to hand do it. requires a $25k machine that pressures the chemicals to 2000psi at 165 degrees to then spray out of the gun, then cures after mixing in the nozzle of the gun in less than 10 seconds.

Where did you find the post? How long are the segments and how much does it weigh?
@groupimaging3 жыл бұрын
We make Tradeshow displays a the posts are a part of our other stands. You would not find this readily. We used 1.25” alum tubing and sewage the ends to 1.125” so the slide into the end of the next pole. The base is 2”x 3/16”x12” aluminum flat bar. We turn the post on a lathe and drill and tap it to screw it to the base from the bottom

Love the disposal part, but I have a problem with the initial pickup. When the people pick up their cup, there is the possibility that they are touching other cups, and one person could reach their entire hand down in there and contaminate the whole bunch.

What's the min thickness you can use for the aluminum?
@groupimaging3 жыл бұрын
they need to be thick enough to get threads on them for the studs. I would say best at 1/4" but you might be able to do 3/16" aluminum. we did some thinner ones and almost pushed the studs through the front.

just 2 issues to consider. is it ADA compliant and void the compliance of the existing handle and how will people know how to use it ? most will just grab it ?

Dan, we have added decals both on the handle and on the door frame to illustrate how to use it. as far as ADA, you can still use the existing door handle to open.
