Bc of insurance reasons. Insurance will require them to do so much prior to doing a biopsy, or they won't pay. Insurance =highway robbery

Don't want to freak you out my lovely, but get a biopsy asap. My friend was told there was a mass but they were going to monitor. By the time the doctors listened to her that there was now pain and finally did a biopsy she was stage 4. Had to have a mastectomy and 21 lymph nodes removed, which they found it had spread to 17 of the lymph nodes. Chemo and radiation for almost a year and she has come out of the other side and is now doing great. Her doctor then had the audacity to tell her," Sorry, if the biopsy had've been done when the mass was first found, a mastectomy would in likelihood never been needed." To say she is not a happy camper is putting it mildly. Take care, but for the love of god please demand a biopsy.

I'm from the UK. Anything where it shouldn't be , gets tested straight away! If it's nothing then great but it's all about catching things early so any chance it could be something serious it needs to be sorted ASAP.

Losing a pet is like losing a child. You love it, care for it, feed it, and treasure what its existence means to you. There's no one way to mourn our fur babies, but we are all here for you. We unexpectedly lost our precious pittie Marley in September 2023, and it still hurts like the day it happened. We had him cremated and had his paw print pressed into a piece of plaster. He's now sat on a shelf that draws the eye to it when you enter that room. He was the life of any party, so it only made sense. It does get better, I promise. But there will always be that part of you that left with her and that's ok. We're here for you, though.

I was just diagnosed with triple negative Invasive ductal carcinoma in my left breast. Demand an MRI or a biopsy. They immediately did both when mine was seen. Haven't started treatment yet but I know our plan of action and I'm thankful for my team of Drs.

I had my first mammogram at 40 and they found a mass, first thing they did was send me to have a sonogram then when that was done they decided that it didn't look right so then they sent me to have a biopsy. They flagged it and have been monitoring it since then making sure it doesn't grow bigger. This was in Kansas

So true ❤ it took almost a year of having an infection in my breast to be heard and have surgery scheduled/ done. Then another year plus of healing. (The doctor's and specialist originally told me to let the infection go so it would become worse and spread, that way I could have exploratory surgery) 😢 I didn't understand why they would tell me let the infection become worse? I hope and pray that you receive the care and answers you deserve. I know the stress and worry of not knowing is horrible. Sending my prayers.

Absolutely they should do a biopsy. Masses in women’s body’s is often not great. Not to scare anyone. But I’m speaking from experience. I had a “mass” on my ovary and the doc had no idea what it was. So they sent me to an oncologist just in case and he didn’t know what it was either. But he didn’t give me more imaging, he went in and took the damn thing out. He ended up having to take my entire right ovary and tube and part of my left one. Thank God, it wasn’t anything but a nasty cyst. But I was grateful. Just seems kind of unnecessary and dangerous to “watch” a mass in a women’s breast doesn’t it? Get in there and at least see what the hell it is. You don’t gotta go through surgery to get a damn biopsy! 😮

I was in my mid 2o's when my OBGYN noticed something during an annual & I was immediately referred to get a mammogram, additional imaging & a biopsy. The biopsy was a bit uncomfortable for a few days & waiting for results was so nerve-wracking. Look up centers in your area. I'm in Texas & the best one was the Breast Cancer Clinic UTSW Simmons Cancer Center. I had several benign tumors, my Dr described it looking like a bag of frozen peas in each Breast, so now I refer to my boobies as the pea bags 😂. A year before that they found cancerous cells in my cervix & I had a LEEP. It's so important for us as women to get regular checkups. I'll be 36 in October and already set my calendar reminder for my mammogram when I turn 40. So glad you're sharing your journey, I'm not religious, but I am praying for you 🍑

Definitely force a biopsy. Also your own advocate. When we were younger moms we always knew when the kids were sick and to go to the doctors. Do the same for you and always tell them what you want and make sure they do it. You know your body best. Hang in there girl. Much love and healing prayers coming your way. Love ya and I mean it!

New to your channel and I don’t know what state you’re in, nor your type of health insurance. All of those influence the answer. But you should have at least been referred to oncologist by now. Prayers, sorry you’re caught in the Microsoft curse. Your primary appears to be playing god.

I had a mammo back in 2016. They saw something, did an ultrasound, then a biopsy right then and there! Was breast cancer. Went thru it all, chemo, surgery, radiation. Been all clear since. I think it depends on your doctor, hospital, etc. Hugs from Idaho ❤

Healthcare wants repeat customers. Every test, prescription, referral, everytime they collect blood, they get a percentage. Why in the world would they cure you? Healthcare doesn't care unless it's a receivable.

I know how you feel!! my Male OB/GYN for my third child assumed that I was living in a trailer park because I had piercings and tattoos I thought it was too far along to find another doctor at that point I was 8 1/2 months. When I went in to be induced, he nearly perforated my cervix with the hook they use to break your water. He gave up when I started crying and crawling up the bed. he pissed my family off at his dismissive attitude when he said that “this is what having a baby is. I’ll come back when you relax.” 😮😮 the nurse that was responsible for me. At that moment looked pissed off, came back when he left and quietly told me not to mention this and she broke my water in two seconds without not even an iota of pain. By the way you’re not supposed to feel pain when they break your water. She told me not to speak of what she did and that he nearly perforated my cervix. She said she could lose her job for doing what she did. She was angry for me and took special care of me after that. I heard the next day from other nurses that they all hate working with my doctor. Had I been thinking clearly at all I would’ve sued the son of a bitch. everybody looks up to doctors and expect them to know what to do but sometimes you get an appointment with the worst doctor in the world. For some of us we find out too late.
