  0:15 Try using Judika Illes's Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells. Also her Encyclopedia of Witchcraft. Great info source. There are many books on kitchen magic. The Bohannon Witches Cookbook is based on the duology Rhiannon's Circle and Rhiannon's Revenge by V. V. James. The recipes, artwork and info about magic, cooking and Witchcraft in general makes this book a pleasant read.

  I really liked Yellowface, and I’m about to read her fantasy series The Poppy War! RF Kuang has said that she likes genre switching, so her books are always very very different - but usually very good and always have commentary on something happening in the world.

  Hey! I just wanted to leave a comment here saying I really enjoyed your video! I like the way you describe the books and how you feel about them so I subscribed with my two accs on here so that I don't miss anything whether I'm on the other or this one :) I'm still very much obsessed with Fourth Wing! It's just perfectly all that I love in a fantasy book!! It got me back into the genre. I'm very obsessed and have been since I first read it! Also I would have a few suggestions :) I think adding time stamps on which book you talk about when will be helpful for watchers. And also if you have a book that you do not have physically putting a picture of the book on screen so we can see which book you're talking about would be nice too!

  I see we have a similar taste in books 😁 I DEVOURED "Divine Rivals" and am currently reading "Ordinary Monsters", which really is the perfect read for moody October days so far 🧡🍁 Thank you for all the great book recommendations 🤗 I, personally, would recommend "Into the heartless wood" which was one of my favorite reads in 2023 with wonderful prose and an atmosphere that fits perfectly for autumn.
