Roughly 30 years ago, Alan and Jodi Decker became immersed in the art of pond building. The company began in 1990 as a design/build landscaping company. Quickly, earning a reputation for work perfection and excellent customer service.
In 1994, Alan understood that the company should be channeling themselves into a suitable niche. Alan always had a strong appreciation for the outdoors and felt that water features were a natural fit. Jodi kept noticing how their customers were always asking them pond-related questions regarding installation or supplies. Water features were a logical extension of what they were already creating.
Now celebrating 30+ years in business Decker's Pondscapes is the Capital Region (Upstate NY) largest water feature design and retail center. Specializing in creating custom water features for every outdoor space and supply homeowners with water garden products as the areas only Aquascape retailer. Stop in for a visit and stroll the display ponds and enjoy.

Phenominal! One of the best I've seen yet!!!
what does the other end of. the 1/4" tubing connect to, and do you leave it automatically on all the time? Do you have to install a pressure reducer? thanks!
Where do you get your straps?
❤
So how do you cover the top,
Thx
What are the pink rectangular things against the sides of the pond?
Awesome
Recycled content? So disappointing. :D
Sorry about that swamped with work need to get new stuff Anything you looking for
@@deckerspondscapes9291 I'm just giving you crap. :D I would like to understand 2 things: 1) how do you make a wetland filter not look like a giant rectangle, and 2) how to build planting pockets within the liner.
Could you provide links or descriptions of the primer, double and single sided tape here? Thanks!!!!!
Science👍🏻 rubber on the water side ✅ righty tighty lefty loosy👎🏻 …↪️ ✅ 😊
Use them their medicinal purpose is amazing. Even the root is edible. Find a holistic forager in your area. Helps with skin lesions, skin tags, infections... so many amazing things the gel alone does.
Is the 6 inch cover tape really necessary? Wouldn't the double-stick tape keep everything together and waterproofed?
Why take a chance I would never do it without
I had my fill valve in my skimmer basket, but when the basket got clogged up enough to impede flow, the water level in the basket would drop below the fill valve and it would run. My water level in the pond was fine, but the behind the basket in the skimmer it got a little low. I moved mine out of the basket, but don't like to see it.
Hey guys! I’m 60 year old lady. My Grandmother’s house was made out of large rocks. They tore it down and I would love to have a few in my yard to preserve my memories. I can’t figure out how to get them off the ground and in my pickup truck. They aren’t as big as your boulders. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
So what was actually wrong? All that happened was you upgraded the smart controller.
Hi Tony. I hope you are well, Sir. That is a good question. Even I would like to know what was actually wrong with the pump. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️
@@ultimatefishkeeping Hi…thank you hope you’re well! Idk if you know I subbed to your channel awhile back and enjoyed the content. did he do a diagnosis? Did the pump work? Did the smart controller work? Or neither? It kinda jumped to we’re upgrading the controller; which I’m all for depending on the age (if it was working) so I was a bit confused on this one.
@Tony-InLosAngeles I did not know that you did. It is very much appreciated. Thankyou. Also thankyou for the kind words. I, too, am a little confused. I just assumed that it worked. However, I did think that it would have been good had the gentleman told us what the issue actually was. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️
Up graded from the remote control Sometimes people want to go and get the app They like using their phone 🤦🏻🤣
@deckerspondscapes9291 That part I understood. I thought that there was something actually wrong with the previous One, and seeing that it was being replaced, the owner opted for the Pump with the App. Thankyou. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️
Lovely! Great job!
This is me interacting in the comments. Lol love yalls work!❤
Thank you
Wow that’s a really pretty pond with some massive rocks! To be honest the homeowners pond for DIY that was a really nice pond too for it’s style!!! 😊
Absolutely
Awesome content!! You guys took that small stacked rock pond that looked 20 years old to the modern design of pond building. looks so much more natural with bigger stones, like mother nature carved it out herself. Amazing outcome!! Aloha from Hawaii
Thank you
Such a satisfying statement to add to your home 😊
For sure
👍🏻 awesome job

Thank you for watching
Questions! 4:32 Those Aquablocks are dead flat. do you get the ground perfectly level before putting the liner down or do you get the perfect level with gravel after the liner? 15:18 I Love the idea of having the water just come out of a pipe and look like a natural spring rather than using a biofalls. Can you please show the build process for this in more detail in a future video? How did you seal it all off/make it water tight around the pipe? is the pipe in the liner the whole way? How deep is it? How do you hide the pipe without the gravel going down inside it? You guys seem like a lot of fun to work with. You're sure fun to learn from! Great video.
We do get the ground perfectly flat before liner goes in If you look at our tech tips here on KZread you will see a video on all that stuff We will have this years tips coming out soon for 2024
😊
