    I agree, alcohol serves no purpose for me. I’m perfectly fine and social sober however when I get drunk, all being drunk makes me want to do is break and destroy shit, steal shit, fuck peoples girlfriends and do drugs mainly cocaine. Not much benefit to any of that.

    Great vid. How much time investment in self improvement is too much do you think? What should we sacrifice first, self improvement, work or business?

  • @michael-maloney
    @michael-maloney13 күн бұрын

    Thanks sir! I think that you should never sacrifice business for self improvement/ health. I read this quote once, "income seldom exceeds personal development" It's weird you would think that directly working on making money will make you more money, but in a weird way if you don't directly work on making money and work on yourself, you will make more money. Some entrepreneurs will tell you different though and those people have indeed made a bunch of money. I'd say it's all about trying and experimenting.

    Look dawg. Be nice. Period. Generosity goes a long way. Youd be setting an example to rude people if you are a nice person. Even when you don't want to be nice, be nice.

  • @christianweber1347
    @christianweber13472 ай бұрын

    Conflict avoidance, lying to loved ones, pretending to tolerate what you don’t tolerate only out of cowardice, and being passive aggressive are not examples of being nice. Being nice is selflessly being there for others, serving others, genuinely caring for others, treating others as humans with respect and dignity enough to tell them the truth even when it might be uncomfortable for us.

    This video hit the nail on the head about the importance of authenticity! Your message on fostering genuine connections is truly inspiring. As someone who creates a dream interpretation channel, I'm always looking for ways to build a stronger bond with my audience. Do you have any suggestions on how video creators can cultivate a more personal and relatable atmosphere in their content? My channel explores the fascinating world of dreams and the subconscious mind, helping viewers connect with their inner selves. I'm constantly striving to make my content more engaging and create a sense of community. Thank you again for this insightful video! I'm excited to see what content you create next and will be sure to subscribe and like your future videos.

    Hey I really do appreciate this comment. What i'm learning is that it's really about forgetting about the metrics. I have been asking myself lately who do I want to help and how can I give more of myself to help this person? We all have the tendency to chase views and subscribers for validation of the ego, but subscribers and views don't necessarily mean impact or growth. The thought I like to carry is how is my viewer going to talk about my video to others? What actions are my viewer going to take next after watching my video? These thoughts really help me. Another thing I recently learned is that imposter syndrome or fear comes from trying to be something you are not. So just be who you are and it will be the easiest thing you can do. Also there may be a fear of being who you are because we have all conditioned ourselves to not be who we are and chase money, chase validation. But a lot of it comes inward. Just be present and authenticity will come naturally! Also remember you can't please everyone. If you just consistently make videos that you are proud of, and videos where impact is the focus then the views, retention, subscribers will come. At least this is what I think. This is the method I'm going to be using to grow my KZread channel and connect more with my audience!

    Hey there! Just finished watching your video on how to be more authentic, and I have to say, it was refreshingly straightforward and genuine. Your approach of emphasizing the importance of saying what you mean really resonated with me on my Christian KZread channel, and I appreciate the lack of rigid structure as it allowed your authenticity to shine through. Keep up the great work of inspiring others to embrace their true selves - looking forward to more empowering content from you!

Yea honestly I feel like it is necessary for me to be living more authentically and I feel this sort of guilt if I don't say what I mean to people or be who I really am. And its weird, but sometimes being yourself is one of the hardest things to do! Thanks for the subscribe!

    That's awesome man. You're in a position where you will creatively figure out your next steps and ways to make money that don't follow the normal script. Keep on doing what you're doing and you will be stronger because of it! Let me know what you end up doing! I would recommend looking in to making money online with an online business . The best business models I've learned of so far are online sythesizing and growing an audience, kind of what I am trying to do, and digital marketing agencies are also a great route. You can also go the sales route because learning how to sell is one of the most valuable skills you can have. Just pick one thing and get very specialized in it. But make sure this one skill is valuable to the market.

  • @ninety2876

    I get your point, it's not for everyone, especially for those who aren't good at studying. It's not only about the money though. We need to have people studying in college and pursuing further education more since our society is absolutely dependent on it. If everyone went around creating online businesses, nearly nothing would work. In my opinion, the more education, the better - take STEM for example, we'll need more people working in STEM if we want to combat climate change. Less people doing silly stuff and more people doing stuff we actually need so that humanity has a future.

  • @michael-maloney
    @michael-maloney5 ай бұрын

    I get your point too. I am a big fan of getting a degree in STEM because these are valuable degrees and they can help further advance society like you're saying. My main point is that other degrees that fall outside of STEM can be a gamble in getting a return on your investment.

    @ninety2876 climate change is a hoax. It’s a Trojan horse for global communism propagated by globalist owned media and ESG initiatives. CO2 makes up 0.04% of atmosphere……drop it by 50% and all plant life dies. If plants are dead, we’re dead. Wake up dummy

    Millions of people come out of school in debt with a useless degree. People need to do a cost benefit analysis on whether or not the degree is worth it for them. Marketing? Communications? probably not worth it. STEM or Law might be, if you have an aptitude for it. If you don't well there's always the trades or being a housewife. Get rid of this cargo cult mentality. College graduates were successful in the past because college was a filter for exceptional people. It isn't anymore now that everyone goes. People need to think differently!

  • @michael-maloney
    @michael-maloney5 ай бұрын

    Hey Dan, thanks for commenting. I believe we truly are moving in to a digital era where there is so much opportunity to make money online and learn valuable skills that the market will pay well for. My main point is trying to outline a person who spends 4 years of time learning skills like selling, digital advertising, content creation, growing an audience is way more valuable than a person with a non STEM degree coming out of college with no other skills to provide to the market other than a piece of paper. This piece of paper if its not from a STEM degree, will cap your income off at typically $60,000 max everything you make over $60,000 will need to come from skills and experience. If it is from a STEM degree yes you can have a higher earning potential with just a college degree and can get a return on your investment, still is going to take a while to pay off. We have so much valuable content on free sources like KZread and if you spend your time learning yourself for free online, then you can develop a skill for free which will make you so much more than any college degree will.

    That's awesome. Yea that's a great point that I didn't mention is that if you don't have to go into a bunch of debt then college can be worth it. However If I had to redo it myself, I would pursue highly valuable degrees such as Science, Technology, and Engineering. I got a business degree myself and now working in construction rental so maybe you guys rent from us!
