@@tunyphish are you a local? NW CT phan here and thrilled to get another Mohegan run. I knew last time Trey really loved this venue! He also seemed down with Westville after his TAB show. You know when he’s standing up front taking in a brand new room and he’s smiling ear to ear. Just went up to Tanglewood to see Trey with Boston Pops. Another new venue I believe and new experience for him with a devoted lively crowd there supporting him at every audience participation moment. The orchestra never had experienced it quite like this for sure- wild phans filling in at every opportunity. And long and extended clapping! I think Phish will be coming back again to Mohegan. No Kong moment like the last time. But we had a crew of uniformed guards come through and were yanking away things left and right. And then they completely disappeared. Man that was feeling like shades of the early 70’s! But I think it’s more about their extra strict fire code. They actually try to enforce it.

I'm not really a big Phish fan, more of a Deadhead, but I'm from close to Weekapaug, and I remember that party that they played at, after which that song was created. I was in high school at the time, and couldn't go because Weekapaug was rich kids territory, and sometimes lower peons like me weren't invited to their parties. @T1Ups Cool. This party they played in Weekapaug was at a private residence. Those rich dudes in Weekapaug had some pretty big houses, so I'm sure there was lots of room for a band to set up and play. Supposedly one of the friends of the kid who's parents owned the house was a mutual friend of the band and got them down from Vermont to Rhode Island to play there. Wish I could have been there.
