    Does anyone know if the baby's passport must be signed by the parents or should we leave it in blank?

    Can I pay for expedite at the facility? My husband did this initial form and I don’t know if he’d choosen expedite, but I’d like to expedite it to be extra sure it’s gonna arrive in time.

    Very useful, successfully applied for passport for our 2 weeks old baby. Thanks a lot for the clear explanation and examples. The photo hack is just icing on the cake. For us they took the photocopy at the Post office, other than that exactly the same. Thanks again. :)

    We are not only flying, we are cruising with our toddler and you are giving me so much reassurance and confidence. We are experienced with flying and with cruising. We have two other kids also but they’re teens and we didn’t start until they were school age so I’m so nervous about all the things of doing this with an unpredictable and very independent and strong willed toddler.

    Money order is acceptable too. They’re turning around much faster than the listed time as of June 2024. Don’t have passport photos taken at Walgreens! It was $17 dollars and they didn’t even accept it because it was slightly blurry!

    I drive a 97 buick lesabre. It feels like a living room and I'm 6 foot. If you had one of these it would be like a luxury suite! I only drive old school American luxury sedans, just incase I have to live in my car. I've had to do it several times. I technically live in my car now. Great video! 👍❤

    My wife updated her last name after our wedding. Her maiden name is on our daughter's birth certificate. Which name should we use for the passport application? Her driver's license has her married name. Will this cause any issues with verification? Thanks you

  • @OurKidTravels
    @OurKidTravels2 ай бұрын

    You should not have any issues if you bring your marriage certificate to the in-person appointment. Here is a quote from the travel.state.gov website: "You and your child may have different last names, as long as the document showing your relationship to your child lists your full name. If your name is different than the one on the document showing your relationship to your child, submit proof of your legal name change."

    Thanks for this breakdown! It's crazy that we still need to send checks to a government agency for this. There are more secure ways to take our money. Efficiency is definitely not the strong suit of US gov agencies.

    Great idea! Wandered if you can trim off the "diaphragm" between the trunk and the back seat? So that you can get more space around the waist and hip area, which makes turning easier.

  • @JunkBondTrader
    @JunkBondTrader2 ай бұрын

    And another tip for people if they want more storage, usually the floor of the trunk unscrews and reveals a little space for your spare tire. If you don't have a spare tire in there it's almost like a second little mini trunk. You can even fit some stuff in there if the tires in there

    Tip for your windows. Go to a dollar store and grab big cardboard paper/bristol boards. Hold it up to your window and Trace out and outline of the window. Cut it out with a box cutter or scissors. Then I like to add a duct tape border to each window cut out, this helps them stick in the corners of the window better and also prevents them from ripping plus you can make little adjustments with the tape if it doesn't quite cover every little spot, then you can throw them up in about a minute

    Dollar tree also sells the aluminum foil looking window shade thing. They are flimsy but you can block off all windows for under 10 dollars. I recently tinted my windows though. Only have one decent windshield four thing (mane wtf that shit called?) Lmao I'm stoned af while typing this... 👽

  • @JunkBondTrader

    You can also slide the front seats up and fold them down forward maybe not to give you more headroom, but give you some space for your arms to stretch a little haha

    I tried outting my feet in the trunk but it was too tight tonturn around in and it lets in alot of air. I have a longn4 door sedan Buick that I lay the passenger seat back and I can stretch out fine and Im 6 ft. I work locally butnhave been sleeping in my car for a year now and I love it!! I get a room for the weekemd every month just to sprawl out some lol. I have storage for my stuff and the gym forna shower. I get to enjoy my money more this way and save more. When I pay my car off Im gonna take so close weekend getaways every month.
