  He's a guy who done things the wrong way, and made it work for himself. I'm not saying this doesn't work - it can - but I think this approach of not bothering with understanding scales is pretty limited to his stylings. The minute you approach other, more harmonically challenging stuff, the bottom of this approach falls out imo

  it’s easy to overlook john mayer because the 21st century is so saturated with guitarists posting amazing things everywhere but regardless of what you think of JM or his music there’s no denying he’s one hell of a guitarist - i would say the closest thing a lot of younger generations have had to a hendrix or a stevie ray vaughan

  Joe is the first class performer with so much soul.....and he was just giving the podium to the next generation. Matteo is just invented the guitar in another way and now the best guitarist player. But this is good and very natural. Old fantastic players giving this to the new generation. One thing Matteo needs to learn more.....give the show . That he can learn from Joe, Vai and other great players
