What does it smell like. The old brand was too much perfume. It smelled like men’s cologne and I couldn’t use it because of that. It was a great product though
Each product page in my website has the fragrance notes/scent in the details tab. They are all toned down on intensity as well.

Question - I have been completely confused during 2023 by the theory that keeping hair curly and frequently touching water would ultimately destroy the integrity of hair. My own high porosity hair after more than a decade of 100% natural mid length hair no longer acts like it used to - more fragile, thinning, webby. The curls are crushed after sleep with pineapple on day 2. I am menopausal. I have hereditary female pattern baldness in my family. I use henna/indigo to color roots only. Is this theory wrong and can I keep my hair curly? It is needed in summer given my high porosity easy to frizz hair. I am scared ro use too much protein. Thank you
The henna is probably not helpful to your situation, so I’d stop using that… it’s probably making the frizz/porosity issue worse. You shouldn’t need to wet your hair daily, so you need to find a different way to sleep on it and possibly the product mix you’re using is making it stick together as you described. You def could use my Scalp Clarifier and Elasticity Restoring Treatment to help your hair’s moisture-protein balance and slow the breakage/shedding. I hope this helps ❤️

Congratulationns!!! I cant wait to try the new line. During the live, you stated braids are not a protective style due torhe synthetic fibers pulling moisture from the hair strand. Im currently growing out a shaved style and my hair is multiple lengths. I have to get pass this Gold Girls lemgth before im comfortable wearing it naturally curly again. Id plan to wear beaids and mine last maybe 3 weeks beforethey start slipping. What do you think about using human hair for braids to help with mositure retention??? I wore a weave for 4 weeks and between growth and slipping i took it out after week 5. What protective style is recommended along with using your products throughout?
If you’re wearing for short periods of time, you should be fine. But you will have to get creative to grow that out… maybe cornrow it, rod set it tightly to blend, slick it down with gel… it’s gonna be a odd styling time, but you’ll make it.

So my issue is my hair knot up when wet and this started happening when I started menopause and it’s breaking and no longer growing. I’m also noticed that I believe I now have psoriasis and I’m having to go in to get my hair done every two weeks because if I don’t it flakes and scabs in my scalp. My question is how does a menopausal woman go back to natural curls and no longer silk straightening. Thank you
Have you been diagnosed by a doctor for the scalp issue? If not, you need to do that first so you know what things to do/not do. Have you introduced anything new to your hair routine… color, henna, masks/treatments, etc? Menopause shouldn’t be causing knotting, so it may be something else you’ve overlooked. If you were consistently wearing your hair thermal styled, you could have some heat damage preventing the natural curls from being as manageable, which means you may need to transition/big chop. I can’t say exactly without more info and seeing your hair, but I hope this helps ❤️

Yes I was diagnosed by a dermatologist who gave me ketaconazole shampoo which did nothing. I’m terrified of a major chop fearing my hair won’t grow back.
