To everyone saying that no one could stop him - I've not read the books, but come on...if you disrespect the king in this universe and declare yourself an enemy in the way he did, they're going to imprison or kill you...They'd just rush him as he's walking out...he's not superman lol

Loras was truly a noble man. Defeated the Mountain, immediately thanked the Hound for saving him, and getting the crowd to chear for him without second thoughts. Such a shame he had a forbidden love, he never got to positions of power.

I love how Bronn is so much more experienced than anyone else in warfare. People forget most of the characters in the show have never been to war. I think the last war was the Greyjoy rebellion but that’s nothing compared to Bronns experience

While some would say Bronn is a monster, he makes something clear - his loyalty isn't blind. He also won't kill without a sense of reason. His reason just happens to glitter and jingle. It's a bit easier to trust a man motivated by money rather than any faith. A man ordered by faith in religion or courtly superiors acts on it, with no other tangible motivation. He will betray if so ordered. A man of money will give you the chance to buy him back.

Conan Stevens was the perfect Mountain, a damn shame they had to recast him. Björnsson could not hide his nice & pleasant nature for a second, and his clean top-heavy bodybuilder physique didn't fit either. What an epic scene.

3:00 Love the background detail of Sandor putting his hand on the grip of his sword. He is absolutely aware that Baristan could have, and maybe would have, cut through the 5 of them, and the few other guards stepping in. He knew that if Barristan had chosen to go for the King's head, he would have been the only line of defense that could have stopped him. He is not hasty doing it tho, because he is not sure he could take him.

Compare this scene with the "Power is Power" scene from Season 1, as well as a certain quote by a certain communist dictator. That is why, despite the protestation of many, Evil Superman is so compelling - nobody can stop Superman and therefore he is the ultimate manifestation of political power, and the only thing that stops him is a shadow on the wall called "morality". PS - the common English translation of a certain idea from a certain 19th century German philosopher is not lost on me. Indeed, it is kind of the point.
