    That sounds incredible mate, I'm looking to put a quickshifter on my k6 and also tune the bike, what do you recommend?

    Thanks man, its a little loud for my liking though 😅 Dont have a quick shifter...the bike is stock bar the exhaust. I have a translogic on my track bike, it works well but i have nothing to compare it to👍

    @thedoubleton200 it's always like that isn't it, either too loud or too quiet lol. I've been lazy these days after owning an s1000rr with a bi directional quick shifter, I know I can still clutchless up shift on the k6 but really do like quickshifters alot. Will look into that translogic, thanks man

    Do you know how to adjust the break away? Or is it possible? When I look though the mirror all I see is my arm.

  • @thedoubleton200

    Don't think it's possible to adjust...the mirror width is set by design unfortunately

    Thanks for the video. Quick question are these mirrors supposed to fold inwards?

  • @thedoubleton200
    @thedoubleton200Ай бұрын

    I think it's only to protect the mirror when struck. I wouldn't fold them inwards too often as it might wear the locking mechanism.

    Really good skills tho man @@thedoubleton200 I've a video here of me doing 60-140 in 6.1 seconds, in 3rd gear lol which is quicker than a Bugatti Veyron. It'll actually do 150 in 3rd at the limiter. Bonkers bike. Nothing I'd swap mine for.

    @@absorbtheride Ya, they're a great bike, only get into their stride above 120MPH. I find the rear shock let's mine down...you can see in another video of the same run, I've to use the front brake to turn or maintain a line through a corner as the rear shock spring is too soft. I subbed your channel there.....thats a nice zzr you have 👌

  • @thedoubleton200
    @thedoubleton2009 ай бұрын

    Once you remove the mirror, you'll see a hollow pin keeping the mount and mirror arm assembly together. The pin is within a spring (not visible) which locks the mirror arm in position. I used 2x 1/4" sockets that matched the sizes of both ends of this pin. Using the vice, you can press the pin which will reduce its overall lenght at the flared end to compress the locking spring. Hard to show with one hand on the video. Its a minor job and will make sense once you remove the mirror 👍

    She looks very at home on that road! I just bought one brand and I'm absolutely in love with it. Surprisingly nimble for the weight and size, and will eat up highway miles of just comfy cruising. Ludicrously fast too.

    @@EdTrollington I find they handle fantastic at speeds below 60mph but above that I found trail braking deep into the corner compresses the front end to quicken the steering combined with counter steering helps with high speed cornering as they are a heavy and long bike. They're not really a bike to take a corner on the back wheel.

  • @thedoubleton200

    Well they're not as dynamic as a r6 obviously but for the road use they handle fantastic, especially when fitted with a 190/55 rear tyre. Personally I find they they excel at corner exit due to the smooth power delivery and traction from the long wheel base but they're not as sharp at corner entry due to the weight. Also replacing the shock spring with a linear spring allows it to hold its lines on long sweepers. Doubt I'll ever sell mine 👌 thanks for commenting 👍

    Hi there, I use an Insta360 one RS twin edition. The twin edition comes with 4k and 360 modules...its handy as a "do it all" camera but if you wanted the best 4k only footage, the DJI Osmo action 3 or Gopro Hero 8 onwards will give slightly better quality. Insta360 probably has the best 360 camera quality wise and for ease of use. I've an affiliate link in the channel description if you're interested in the insta360, gives you a free battery
