That rainbow tower is a good pick up if they never reprint it, I grabbed the foil when they were like $2. Can never go wrong with those utility filter lands from fallout set, it's like a secret lair except the cards are like $.50 with almost no downside risk.

Welcoming vamp is is such a steal at $0.50 cents it's currently going for. The showcase version captures the intent of the card over the generic art of the normal copy.

@@AwesomePossumHobbiesandGames I finally recorded an unboxing video for mine yesterday. I pulled a Polluted Delta, Phyrexian Tower, and a foil Echoes of Eternity. Also Arna Kennerud but that was less exciting!
Some really nice reprints came out of these commander decks....Vesuva hit like $3 but the ultimate markdown has to be the Medallion Cycle with borderless versions trading in the $4-$6 range which should present an excellent entry point if you have decks that want them.
I think all of the decks from this set are pretty sweet. I’m pleasantly surprised with how all the themes play. I’m definitely building an energy deck with the fallout “Science!” deck around Liberty Prime. Thanks for watching!
@@AwesomePossumHobbiesandGames Energy is such an abusable mechanic. I have a sneaking suspicion that commander decks are now planned with synergistic releases back to back to help move upcoming product as well as boost the back end of stuff released in the previous fiscal quarter.
I don’t know about that theory. WotC has previously stated that teams that work on one expansion, do not work with other teams about the upcoming release. Mark Rosewater has acknowledged this in previous posts on his “blog-atog”. It would make more sense for them to work together in the future to make sets more fun to play with each other and not have some cards dominate formats for years. Fingers crossed that they progress in that direction in the future.
i just wanted to follow up how are the apex sleeves holding up after a few months. dragon shields i feel like i have to replace them after a month of heavy use.
So far, so good. The corners seem to hold up better than Dragon Shields, allowing them to keep their shuffle feel better, longer. Of course I may not shuffle the same way you do, so you may get different wear than me. Thanks for watching!

I ended up just doing inner sleeves with the apex and omg do they feels so good to shuffle and hand shuffle. I'm just worried about if it will last me more than a month
It will depend on you and your use. The deck I have sleeved is doing pretty well, but I don’t play with it enough. It’s too expensive to take places. I have a new set of apex sleeves from their mana series on a deck that I play way more often. I will let you know how they do.
I want to see Ancient Bronze Dragon juice the new Ulamog for annihilator 20. Some pretty nice pick ups here.

Cool idea, unreasonable for people to remember cards just on name alone. I would be less than thrilled to play against someone with an entire deck of this nonsense.
WotC has released “textless” cards previously. When they first came out, they were pretty easy to remember what the text was because they were very commonly played cards. Years later, I can’t remember half of those cards wording. I understand people have cell phones and can look up cards most of the time. My local game store has horrible reception, so whomever is playing these cards, better have the full card ready. Some of them are pretty wordy. They could have put text in small print along one of the sides as a solution. 🤷♂️ Thanks for watching!
Fingers crossed for that serial card.....lets see it opened here. I agree with your statement that prices are insane. My favorite moment in mtg over the counter history was the 2016 and 2017 commander decks which at the time had absurd value for a sealed product at just $35 per deck. Regret not buying multiples of Draconic Domination but wtf knew they would hit like $400? I grabbed 3 playsets of Retro Priest of Titania ( 2 sets of them foil) they hit like $1 on June 9th; regulars are going for $2 a playset.

I’m just a private collector. I have been playing off and on since fall of 1993. I actually worked at WotC in the events division 2000-2001, laid off due to 9/11. Just been dabbling since.

I always buy these sheep sleeves and Top Loader and stuff like that. But not for actual use for my Deck but for Storage or shipping always good enough.

My god.....triple digits for a bundle that really hurts. I'm also looking out for Fanatic of Rhonas but pretty sure that card is going to crash hard on full release. Did you get any fetches in that bundle? For a hundo I'd like at least 1 fetch for my troubles.

Possum is totally right about that vexing bauble - it's going to be a premium sideboard card. If you can grab the foils for cheap it may be worth grabbing a playset (This card shuts down very expensive cardboard).
Probably worth picking up 2 play sets. Worth picking up for most commander decks. It just wrecks so many of the premium free commander cards. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the review. I just ordered a set of 6 for ~$15 from amazon. Could you confirm whether or not mini snap cases fit inside? If not no biggie, I'll find out in a few days either way. I'll be happy as long as they're an upgrade to the cardboard deck boxes that come with commander precons these days. I know there's the proverb about the man who buys cheap shoes having to pay more in the long run than the dude who spends more for a quality set of boots, but surely there's a cost benefit analysis to be made when they're literally 5-6x cheaper than similar products (boulder, bastion, etc).
After using them for a few months, I can say they are better than the cardboard deck boxes. Just don’t toss them in the bottom of a bag. The tops will come off and your cards will go everywhere. For what I use them for, they are great for display on my wall. Great for easy, grab and go. Just put a rubber band on them to keep them closed. Also, don’t drop them. Please, i have a Pro Kases binder. But whatever, does it fit in a binder pocket? I would be great to protect cards with a card preserver + binder combo.
I’m not familiar with the pro kases binder. I have an ultimate guard 4 row style binder and these definitely will not fit. They are the approximate size as standard top loader. If a hard plastic top loader won’t fit, these won’t either. Thanks for watching.

Surge foil Fallout Signet was a smart pick up, those cards are truly scarce and they actually look good. OTJ Thoughtseize might have bottomed I picked up a few of those myself. That Jace hit like $5, at that price everyone should probably own it.

Is it a hefty pen or lightweight?

The size is too small for “heft”. At least in my opinion. If it was a full size pen, and carried that equivalent weight, it would definitely be considered hefty.
I'm pretty sure this is ment to be a zip gun for .22 I seen it advertised as such a few times, they carry a few guns now just hard to find
I also got in on that Forensic gadgeteer (great in Urza) and Assassin's Trophy on set release because they hit like $2 in foil. It's a shame about "______ Goblin" getting banned with all the sticker cards but that's how this game goes.

I think opting for rigid piece of plastic/cardboard with adhesive vinyl envelope would likely be cheaper. If you wanted name brand what does this have over a card saver 1 with an oversleeve? Thanks for the 1st look and honest opinion though.
I agree. My favorite way of shipping single cards will be for the foreseeable future is a plastic top loader, with the card in a penny sleeve upside down, sealed with blue painters tape. Cheap and efficient with superior protection for what is being shipped. I see where these are going, just not going to be as safe or as rigid as a top loader. Thanks for watching!

I think the artwork looks pretty cool. The title was just what WotC called it. I have no idea where they got the title from.
I think there was a misunderstanding... Its not 35 cards.. 35pt. means 35 point. Point represents the thickness of the card. A standard trading card is 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches in size and around 35 point in thickness so this holder will hold these types of cards.
Thank you for educating me about this. As you guessed, I had no clue. It wouldn’t have been something I would have spent my hobby dollars on. Still for the product, it is okay. I would rather ship singles in a full plastic top loader. Not having the rigid plastic on both sides of the card is asking for potential damaged during shipping. Shipping a card in a standard penny sleeve reversed in a top loader with some masking tape is just more economical and seems to be safer. If I was going to store higher end cards, I will stick with a full plastic slab. It’s a nifty idea, just not for me. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it.

I already tried to triple sleeping with actual outer sleeves. Triple sleeping with these would be like shuffling with hard top loaders. You can do it, you just wouldn’t want to.

I always wondered if there was a market for the Un-Sets and this video is the answer. Some nice borderless pick ups in this haul I had to order that version of Everflowing chalice after seeing it on camera.
The ______ goblin (sticker dependent) is amazing. With the correct sticker cards in your sticker deck, he pulls in 4-6 mana when he comes into play. I have him in a couple of decks and he is super worth it. Buy them now! They are going to go up in price, guaranteed. Everflowing chalice is an easy borderless upgrade. It is just a impulse buy when checking out buying groceries. It used to be an impulse buy to purchase a random commander deck. Now those are priced out as that option.

You had some good hits with the Showcase Jitte and Gisa, Overly Enthusiastic G/F meme (I'm hoping that thing hits like $6 if it doesn't find a home in standard). Excellent Stoneforge Mystic...... I feel like they unbanned that card just so they could slow drip it back to us at higher and higher prices. Get your foil basics from this set they are some of the nicest I've seen. The cactus forest and grand canyon waterfall island will not disappoint.
I’m actually a big fan of this set. The thing that hurts when collecting is the inclusion of The Big Score being standard legal. The surge treatments on those lands look so much better in person. The enemy filter lands (extended) in surge foil are still dirt cheap. I believe they are sticking them in precons going forward to keep price down but if you like fall-out aesthetic it's a cheap untapped enemy dual.

They had a delay on mine. From what I understand, the owners father passed away. He was integral in the operations of production. The delay made the delivery take about a month and a half later than originally projected. It arrived in great condition. The box it was shipped in did not. I hope you get yours soon. I ordered an Azul as a present for someone, and received this disappointing knock-off copied set instead. I ordered a new, real set instead. The knock-off has now become our travel version
I hadn’t realized I was buying a knockoff until I received it. All of the pictures on Temu had shown the real deal. I was surprised when the fake showed up.
I did the Lego lambo same size as this. Took me an hour and 50 minutes. I got the black on of this and will try to beat your hour and 10 minutes
Sorting the brinks is always the part that takes so long. I the next car I do will take less time.
