Good video, but what is missing is the list of parts and parts numbers. Maybe add them to the comments. Also, I couldn't find the certification link.

the inside chamfer then has nothing to do with the seal, it is to insure that the pipe is easily inserted onto the sealing part.

Can you use it as regular indoor gas line??
@israels61893 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure the answer is no. Most will require some sort of metal when indoors (black pipe or flex stainless steel). Plastic is for outside and direct burial.

anthony stackhouse I don't let anyone tape the wire to the pipe. when pulling into a bore. It's a completely useless extra step, and causes more problems than anything.

@@vegaslowblower8781 Well, it causes the wire to break on some bores. Even if it doesn't, the tape just breaks and it did nothing. Also, you're technically supposed to keep the wire away from the pipe. But that's not really possible with a bore.

If you can use this pipe to bury a natural gas line. Why couldn't it be used to pipe natural gas through a house. If CSST is a hazard why not use this style of piping in houses?

Ken C What would you use to put natural gas through out your house besides the black iron pipe. I mean a flexible style pipe. Black iron might be safe but it isn't flexible. What type of piping would you suggest?

Time is money when you account for labor; be it yours and/or your employee. Jobs are always labor vs material. We go with which ever is cheaper to use.

What I am talking about is i.e cheaper to buy a factory 90 degree 2" conduit elbow or spend the labor to bend the elbow (both include the material). I especially feel sorry for those who have been "screwed over by contractors." However, contractors often get "screwed by the customer" who often fails to pay final bid payment. Then we (the contractors) are left with filing a mechanics & material lien to get our money. So it seems the "screwing" goes both ways for some!!
