  I still recall the happy memories of winning the penalty shoot out against Man Utd in the final at Millennium Stadium, Cardiff. I was watching live at our doctors room in Gynae ward during my internship in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, Bangladesh.

  I am amazed as Gooner recalling back this team of Arsenal. Exciting football, amazing talents, fancy Arsenal goals so pleasant to watch again and again. This used to be by far the best attacking football in the PL, fastest ever one touch FB, unbelievable understanding between the team. One obvious mistake has never been addressed for fixing...The lack of balance between attack and defense. My beloved Wenger is all to blame. Otherwise, Arsenal then wasn't a team anyone could beat. It was a Pack of Talents: Bergkamp, Viera, Henry, Pires, Gilbert Silva, Edu. RV Persie, Fabregas, Laurent, Ash Cole. Dream team !

  Arsenal were in peak of the golden era that began in mid nineties under Arsene Wenger. It was a fitting farewell for Patrick Vieira as he scored the winning penalty in that memorable final against Man Utd at the Millennium Stadium , Cardiff.

  Shoutout to santi Cazorla, he gave arsenal the only hope they needed for the final. His only goal from freekicks that whole season. Podolski always took it but santi said "nah, I see the script"

  Good video on a very underexplored and rarely mentioned topic. Reading old news, it also seems that Vieira's grip on the dressing room at Arsenal was barely comparable to Roy Keane's (then) powerbase in Man Utd. There were speculations about whether Vieira was really born in 1976 or was he older than he claimed like several African players plying their trade in Europe at the time and recently retired (then) club legends openly coming out with doubts over Vieira's longevity and medical issues as he got increasingly closer to the age of 30. That wouldn't fly with Roy Keane. As a lifelong Man Utd fan, I must admit that I saw Arsenal as the most fascinating club in England before Mourinho's arrival turned the EPL into a three-horse race.

  The greatest treble in English football! What a fun! Footbal as stated was not as challenging as it is now. It was a kind of one horse run at that time.   As an Arsenal fan I have no idea about this bs corruption in the CL final. Arsenal simply didn’t win. Lehman shouldn’t have taken down Eto’o and let the goal in and we would have 11 players. Henry missed so many chances in that final so he should take a lot of the blame although he is not the only player in the team the amount of chances he has he should have put away one of them at least and arsenal would have been 2 maybe 3-0 up. It’s very sad because even with 10 men still in the game, Arsenal defended really well that Barca didn’t really have many chances. We made Ronaldinho look amateur in this game. But winning is winning and Barcelona won the game at the end of the day and deserved it.
