    did you end up changing the front brake line with a new bar setup? Is it as simple as what you said as to just get a straight banjo to go on the abs module and a fitting on the reservoir and a custom threaded line? Trying to figure it out on my fiances new 2023 and no dealer ive called seems to have a clue. 10mm x 1.00 banjo bolts seem to be what is on it but I havent actually taken them off to check yet.

  • @aztriumphster

    Thank you for the review. I think your opinion in the end is correct. Should be a little cheaper over all. However I think if it was adjustable it would be maybe 2-3 times more money. I think it's a big ask. But cool idea!

    I want to know which one handles the twisties better, which one is more composed when you are scrapping the pegs. I have ridden sport bikes for over 20 years and know I have moved onto Harley’s. I find it near impossible to find a real world review where they discuss handling issues. Let’s face it, 32 degrees of lean angle is not much, it’s normal to expect that the average rider will use all of it up.

    The Softail far out handles the Dyna from the factory. During the time that I owned my Softail Fat Bob I added an extension to the rear shock lifting the rear an inch. You can also slide the fork tubes down about a half inch elevating the front slightly. Those 2 mods plus a set of mid controls and ull have urself a fun bike to ride that performs well in the twisties.

    @Jluck783 ай бұрын

    @@aztriumphsterthanks for the info, I appreciate it. I was finding it hard to get real world info about handling, this is helpful. I am leaning towards the Dyna chassis Fatbob simply because of the lower cost. I had to replace the suspension on my other Harley’s, I just assume this one will need a set of aftermarket emulsion shocks like Ohlins or Legends (just the basic shocks with rebound adjustment does wonders), stiffer fork springs and thicker oil. I think this might do the trick.

    I did a stage 2 on my 2021 RG and I left the stock air box because I like the look. I installed the Arlen Ness Big Sucker oval air filter that’s 1/4” wider than stock. It looks better than stock doesn’t break the bank and they estimate like 3% more HP. I don’t know I really don’t notice any difference power wise but When I twist the throttle I notice hearing the air pulling in a bit.

    Maybe you can help me out. My 19 ultra bought brand new had harley map and tune for scream egale ventilator and some generic slip ons. I recently upgraded to a bagger brother true daul head pipes and bassani dnt mufflers. Is there a way to tune for my set up i have the tuner from when i purchased the bike from harley.

  • @aztriumphster
    @aztriumphster5 ай бұрын

    Hello, if it's a Screamin Eagle tuner, you should be able to follow the steps in the video and select a generic map that caters more to your current setup. However, I think your setup would still be considered a stage 1. So you could leave the current map and just use the smart tune feature to gather more riding data and apply it so the bike runs more efficiently.

    I have a 2014 FXSB. I traded a 2019 Fat Bob and I specifically wanted a twin cam over the M8. They sound great and run phenomenal. The M8’s might be more efficient, but it takes a lot to get them to sounding the right way for me. I can’t feel a difference in real world riding comparing the two, but I do agree that the 2014 feels hot. My 2002 TC doesn’t feel the same heat wise so maybe I just need a tune.
