Tbh I think I’ll always stand by her. I understand where she’s coming from. Like okay maybe she’s made some mistakes but who hasn’t? At the end of the day she’s a good person who tries to do the right thing. Her *real* fans understand.
Magazines, T.V. Shows, Interviewers, Talking Heads all love to put us into boxes. This singer/Songwriter is for the red side. This singer/songwriter is for the blue side. Most of us are neither. We are all products or our experiences and backgrounds. It is convenient to place us into categories. This is also how many actors/actresses, singer/songwriters loose a career. A lot of careers are not about the song or acting quality. There are a class of reporters that make it their mission to tear down a singer, actor, politician for the sake of putting their career up on top. "I am the reporter that exposed John Smith for who he really is!" The reporter's article has nothing in it about how well John Smith performed in The Phantom Of The Opera. It is all written garbage. John Smith eats Mrs. Smith's apple pies and uses Old Spice Deodorant. On John Smith's day off he likes abuse puppies and kittens. These hack writers are a dime a dozen and will get eaten and spit out in the next month. Reporters use to have class and credibility. That has gone right out the window. It is being first and how much dirt and smut you can write about a performer. This is so sad today. Performers are real people with positive and negative in their life. Wish the reporters would stick to reporting on their performance and substance.

Well, the Erotica song and album was the best in my opinion. The sounds of the Arabic woman lends itself to this song adding a state of hypnotic mystical energy that floats the song as the best on the album. If Madonna had asked to use it, they would have said no for religious reasons so it had to be taken and be sued to get it out there and when you have money like Madonna who cares??!!
