  Thanks ninesixx this was helpful. I want to make beats in Pro Tools, but use the Maschine hardware and sounds. I don't like the maschine software as much and think I could be more productive in Pro Tools. Do you have any other advise or tips for someone like me?

  I just rap for fun, I make my own tracks. My studio fits in a backpack ha! I had a full studio setup at the house but we needed to space so I got rid of most of my equipment but now I got a spot next to the buckhorn than im gonna be runnin. Where can I hear you music?

  Sorry so late. I didnt get this email until today. Yes you need an audio interface for the maschine, the one on your standard computer is not sufficient enough. I use a pro tools mbox, but you can use any inexpensive one from guitar center or musicians friend. Basically the maschine connects directly to your computer via usb, and the audio interface connects to your computer via usb as well, the computer acts like a hub. Then open maschine, and locate your audio interface and select it. Its easy

  @Sytrusze yes you are correct! At this time i just purchased the maschine and didnt know any better and i had just googled everything i could on how to do this and all i found was others asking the same question and no answers. So as soon as i figured out how, i wanted to share it with anyone who wanted to know. I still do it this way, only because converting files to .wav takes a few extra steps for me in pro tools. But good lookin out

  Turntables Sampling through P.T. works pretty much the same tway. I ran my tt mixer audio out into the M-Box2 in ports. Inside P.T. tracks wise: I loaded up a Stereo mixer, 1 Stereo audio track, and 1 instrument track for the Maschine. I changed the input on the Instrument track to my stereo channels 1&2. I hit play on the turntable and the Maschine picked up the Audio. Nice Video ninesixx !!Thanks
