  This music shows the audience that despite the traumas of the last season it has made Jack and Mel’s relationship stronger than ever. They are together at long last, engaged and facing the future. Songbird is a beautiful song with strong lyrics of hope for a better future.

  I think Songbird is a lovely melody and full of hope. A bird has echoed in Mel’s life, one even came and perched on a chair as she finished the baby dress. It’s a good omen for season 6 which will be centred on Mel and Jack and include a time jump. Let us hope they start to see the house being built, perhaps a wedding and possibly the reason for Mel’s fertility issues.

  @Martinhendersonofficial I would love to help with VR going forward. I have experience of adoption which has been a very happy and successful one but know cases that have gone wrong. Had high risk pregnancies plus understand the husbands with children, I understand that too!
