In The Money Media Network
The In the Money Media Network, founded by Jonathon Kinchen and Peter Thomas Fornatale, is a collection of podcasts and other content about horse racing and gambling.
The network itself is an outgrowth of the In the Money Players’ Podcast (originally the DRF Players’ Podcast), the longest continuously running horse racing podcast. It has charted in ITunes and received the ABR Fans Choice Award for Best Radio Show / Podcast in 2020. Importantly, it has brought together a diverse community of horseplayers from all walks of life, and counts amongst its fans some of the biggest names in the racing industry.
Other shows on the network include The Matt Bernier Show, Redboard Rewind with Spencer Luginbuhl, Talk Racing to Me with Naomi Tukker, Nick Luck’s Daily Podcast, and various podcast partnerships with other entities including RacingPicks, Lone Star Park, and The Brentwood hotel in Saratoga - those shows all live under the In the Money Players’ Podcast banner.

Being polite. J.k.is a good handicapper but some handicappers get hung up with horses they picked in the past which is not good. I know u can hope a horse gets good and u might be right but thats all what ur doing. Hoping. There r better races to pick and choose and try 2 score. Ur very good j K.
Two heads are supposed to be better than one if not located on the same shoulders. Mindframe 3YO Champion! When was the last time TP had one of those. Every year he is loaded with 3YOs. Come on Guys! Below I have provided the Happy Saver story. I could have provided the Any Given Saturday story after he destroyed Curlin and Hard Spun in the 2007 Haskell. However, there are just too many to choose from. Let me reiterate. Todd Pletcher is an enhancer first. Somewhere in the mix he has to train his horses. He is one of the two major Chemical kings in the USA. There is also one that dominated Canadia Racing. You both appear to be bright individuals and I cannot understand why you have both not come to the realization that hitching your wagon to TP horse is bad idea. You both think that I am a lunatic. OK! that's fine. But to help you appreciate where I am coming from, revisit Daredevil. I am yet to see another G1 Champagne won is as devastating a fashion. Equibase has been assigning Speed Figures for the Champagne for last 32 years and the 113 assigned to Daredevil remains the highest. Two different interest groups bought into the colt for millions after his Champagne win. In his next start in the BCJ he finished last by 26 1/4L. There were no reports on an injury during the race. The colt made only 2 more start and was unable win any. He was rushed into retirement to save what little stud value he had left. JK, you tagged Fierceness as a potential TC winner because you have consumed so much of the TP's Kook Aid. I warned you about your over-the-top assessment of Fierceness. Further, TP Preakness record with his KD winners should Have indicated you were on the wrong track regarding your TC assessment. But a man convinced against will thinks the same way still. If you can spare sometime from glorifying TP horse. revisit the performances of Capo Bastone in the Kings Bishop and Pluck in the BCJ Turf. Would you be surprised that neither won another race. I watched you at Saratoga with Andy and that's when I observed your litany of tattoos. You are uniquely qualified to answer the following question. Which sane person pays another person to use a sharp instrument to painfully deposit ink into the skin? I suspect there is a period of healing that is likely wise painful. You are university grad, and it appears too much learning has made you mad.

Mindframe the runner up in the Belmont is surprisingly the ML favorite for the Haskell. Below are 2 entrants that are far more accomplished. Dornoch - Remson (G2); FOY (G2); Belmont (G1) Timberlake - Champagne (G1), Rebel (G2) How can the person responsible for setting MLs, assign the ML favoritism to a colt with a 2nd place finish its it graded stakes debut? Is it above my pay grade to comprehend such a decision? I have mentioned on several occasions that I keep receipts. Which of my receipts did I retrieve in relations to Mindframe? That would be Happy Saver win in the 2020 Jockey Club Gold Cup. The Overwhelming favorite for the 2020 JCGC was Tacitus who previously contested 6 Graded Stake with 2 wins and 4 top 3 finishes. The field also included Mystic Guide who was the last out winner of the Jim Dandy. Happy Saver's resume reflected 3 undefeated starts before the 2020 JCGC. They included MSW, AWL and a Listed Stake. Happy Saver in his stakes debut, a G1 over 10F got by Mystic Guide late to win by 3/4L. Despite his light resume he was well fancied. I regarded his win as surprising, and it raised a Red Flag. A popular writer and presenter from HRN dedicated a blog to Happy Saver declaring him to be rising start after his JCGC win. In a response, I cautioned the writer that the colt was from TP's barn and the light from this perceived star could go as quickly as it illuminated the JCGC. The 2020 JCGC winner disappeared for 7 months after recording his 4th consecutive win. He returned in an AOC and duly recorded his 5th straight win. In his next 7 start the rising star failed to win. It appears he ended his career with a last place finish in the 2022 BCC. Mindframe finished 2nd in the G1 Belmont in only his 3rd start. He is now being hailed as the next star. I caution all who have jumped on this colt's band wagon to be careful. This rising star's light that illuminated the Belmont will go out as quickly as it illuminated the Belmont.
I feel like some ppl jumped off Fierceness' bandwagon & on 2 the Mindframe bandwagon. His inexperience cost him the Belmont, so we'll c if he's grown since then.

Thorpedo Anna if every thing going right this coming Saturday should goes for the travelers against the boy. The simple fact is she have nothing more to prove against female competition ..being said if they decide to go to the classic that will be too much to ask. She have a chance to beat the boys in the travelers because this crop are unpredictable so far. You can imagine that fierceness still have fans to follow.
TA will get enough of a test in the BC Distaff.

Yeah it sounds like he'll get an extended rest after 9 races in 9 months. Maybe we'll see him in the fall but Dan looked spent in the Belmont.

That's what I wound up doing. I didn't want to pick one of Chads horses because that whole 5 horse deal seemed WAY too cozy for my liking. I almost skipped betting the race altogether. In the end I placed a single Win bet on Moira. Didn't pan out, but no harm done.

In my opinion, JK's current obsession with Frankie Dettori is going to cost him big on this race. I'm excited to watch Frankie this meet, and he'll ride plenty of winners. But not in race 10 on Saturday. You may want to hedge that bet cause he gonna break your heart on this one brother.

Some of you may laugh but years ago I wrote to the MENSA Society after learning that they had decided to tackle horse racing and could it be beat, with a group led by Milo Mulch.This is what they found: Horse racing is a carnival game.Out of the group of mathematical geniuses the person who picked the "warm glowing feeling about the horses name" outperformed the group.

Great stuff! Love to use most of those angles! I made a spreadsheet to keep tabs on the post time favorites winning percentages at all the different conditions, surfaces and distances. Found that last year favorites only won OC races 26%, an inner turf routes 23%. I keep it handy if I am torn between a couple of different runners.
