Thanks for explainin, great Video!
I'm confused, I just watched a handful of videos on trout fishing with ultra light outfits and they were using the same set up. Must be a different species of trout I grew up pursuring when I was a kid.
Trout fishing is something I never really got into, but I suppose it's just down to the way angling has evolved over the years! There's so many different techniques and rigs that it can become a minefield. It's all down to being confident in your approach. Good luck with your angling, hope you found the videos useful.
Mate love this. Helped me loads won't be using any other
I appreciate your positive feedback mate much appreciated, glad you found the video useful 👍
My leader already has a loop in it, how would I tie my mainline to it?
Hi mate, I would use the Palomar or grinner, both are a very strong knot. I've done videos on both anymore questions I'm happy to help. Thanks, carpinsight
Very easy to follow 👍🏻
Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to watch the video I'm glad you found it useful. Much appreciated. Tight lines.
Do you use a 50lb floating leader for spodding ? What leader do you used for the rods and rigs ?
Hi mate. I use 50lb arma kord by korda for spomb and fox exocet double tapered mainline for fishing rods hope this helps 👍good luck.
@@carpinsight thank you I’ve just bought thirty lol 😂 hope it will be ok for a midi spomb !
That will be fine mate. I only use 50lb as i fish at range a lot with the big impact spomb . You will still be able to give 30lb the big 1 though good luck 👍
Hi there when I go round 5 times and try to pull the tag end it doesn’t pull! What am I doing wrong mate?
Hi mate. It can be difficult to start with. It could possibly be the way its wrapped when twisting your fingers the aim is to keep the IQ on the back of the shank rotating your fingers to ensure it stays on the back of the shank. When i first started tying the knot i found starting with a bigger loop helped. If you keep struggling mate let me know and I'll do a more detailed video on that part of the rig. Hope this helps thanks for the message and watching the video.
