  My wife and I are visiting York next month. Is there a 'day ticket' we can buy to give us unlimited bus travel for any particular day. Can we pay using contactless cards, or is a paper ticket better . thanks for any information provided.

  During my lifetime there have been three new bus stations in Halifax, and the one before that (at Ward's End) wasn't that much earlier, either. The place seems to have an obsession with them, or they are bloody useless at designing and building bus stations. I give this one 25 years max.

  @@mcdowellbuses Yeah I miss having a full bus station in Halifax. Was much easier to change services and all my local bus routes were in one location. I loved how busy the bus station would get too.
