Any car that doesn't have enough power can't hold a drift at low speed, unless the driver sends the RPM to redline everytime.
@jagymeister6 ай бұрын
@@zeron3699 thats not true… there are many drift techniques besides just jumping on throttle pedal. 😅 Like weight transfer, shift lock, scandinavian flick, handbrake, etc… I show this in my other video with 140HP stock MR2 or you can find similar video with AE86 by Keiichi.
@zeron36996 ай бұрын
@@jagymeister Yes, but those techniques are dependent on speed, which is what he is focusing on. I assume low speed being 10-20KM/H, it's really hard to even get the car to wheelspin unless you clutch kick it, the exit is really hard when the car gets it's grip back from weight transfer. If you have slidy tires that would be another conversation.

I have both a fully built Evo and GR Yaris. The GR Yaris is a great little car - more comfortable, solid brakes, decent engine and lightweight, but has weird things like poor visibility (infotainment, windows and mirrors), high seating position and lacks a bit of low end torque etc. The ECU is also very inconsistent so the car feels different all the time. The Evo has a better 4wd system, more exciting engine, sharper steering and more room but is starting to get old. I think the GR Yaris is continuing the old 90s JDM tradition. I'm glad these cars are still made today.
