On KZread your take is a hot one. I have smelled many of the “this is 95% similar” clones and they all sort of hit on the core but at a lower quality. Lots of iso e super and Ambroxan in the base to make them loud and longer lasting but I don’t really want a long lasting bad quality scent. I get why people like them but I haven’t found one for me.

I own the love don’t be shy Amber and Oud 2023. Got it for $170 or so and I fell in love. It’s got real oud, great longevity. It feels way more complex than most Kilian scents. That Oud is 100% funky but the orange blossom melds with it so well.

E- Re-watched this oldie but goodie last night. Been seeing some of your more recent ones from your AWESOME JOB at Bergdorf-Goodman. That would be a really fun job, I would think. Anyway since my last comment several years ago my thoughts have evolved. I still love (and wear) Habit Rouge, but I go more often to the EDT. Not a big fan of the newer formula, while it’s not at all bad, I am still stuck on the silver cap edition. Seems a little more interesting. Got my hands on the gold cap version of Héritage. Stunning! As you say here, the silver cap is not bad, but the gold cap is amazing. I will never get tired of Vétiver. It’s phenomenal. Am in love with Shalimar, particularly the EDP. A work of art! I have Jicky in the bee bottle EDP. Amazing and truly fascinating and captivating. Chamade pour homme (which was introduced to me by an associate at the Guerlain counter at Bergdorf-Goodman back in maybe 2013 - younger blonde tall and thin and looked like she could’ve been the model in a next mini Guerlain film to promote one of their perfumes! Anyway, Chamade is fantastic! So is Derby. I want to love Coriolan more, but on my skin with my chemistry it turns into a pancake and syrup smell after about the two hour mark, which is so unfortunate!! Something also goes wrong with Arsene Lupin Dandy on my skin. After about the three-hour mark it starts smelling like sun tan lotion on me. Not even making that up. Even though it’s more recent, I also have and like L’Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme EDP. That’s my whole Guerlain collection for now. Most of them work on my skin, thankfully. There’s no other House like Guerlain. Keep up the great work!

Hey, I loved meeting you today at Bergdorfs!!! Just like taking to another fraghead. After I left the store I walked to the park and almost sat in a bench with a plaque dedicated to former president and wife then decided to take a picture of it instead. No joke, during the photo I got an alert from CNN about the verdict. Anyways look forward to going back and seeing you again sometime. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
