I believe the way armor killer works is one hit and it stops the use of armor so I try to do jab 1 and 2 to stop Wonder Woman armor.

Not sure if it’s supposed to be like that it could be a glitch. But the most practical use case I see for the stand stand still meeseeks is to confuse ur opponent and maybe get a hit cuz they don’t expect it to move. I haven’t experimented with it much tho

Yes i totally with all you said, DI is hard to read like and some cgaracter breack the combo (arya or guizmo)and yes jab+ portal + up b is my confirm. Im actualy looking on how to manage my giant, in edge guard is useless, but like trying ti get this early kill is good

I play on controller and I can’t figure out the button input to just place down a single portal to set up combos. When I press the button for the portal it just automatically teleport me.

You have to input side special like normal and then hold the special button after you have your spot lined up with the left stick. Then you let go of special and press it again very quickly. The timing is very tight but if u can get it a couple times then its easy to repeat.

It’s based on di. If they don’t di out then it’s hard to connect. You can try doing side special and then pulling it more towards you to get it to connect in di in.

I have been learning so much about Rick in the past 2 weeks and I am constantly am learning new stuff especially with portal. To get portal to connect on di in is a bit hard at first but if u can land it a few times it’s easy to repeat. U just have to hold side special and pull in as quick as possible.

The Squanch perk stacks with That's Flammable Doc so your opponent gets ignited with damn near every hit after you do a portal lol.

You didn't mention that you can use a meeseek, dodge, use a second meeseek and give an order to both Haven't figured it out how to use it efficiently but it could be useful Also I wonder if you'll make a edgde guard/ledge trap video because rick has so many options (I even managed to position my down special into a certain spot that both turned my opponent into a reindog while he was hanging on the ledge and myself into a giant once)

You need to let people know how DI is effecting portal. If opponent is DI in after jab two instant portal will never confirm. To always get portal to confirm after jab two you need to bring portal slightly in.

The skis are super good for starting combos with people that won't approach you the don't have a lot of knock back til you get to high precents so it is easy to combo with

Directional input can have a big effect. If someone keeps doing their di in it can be hard to get portal to connect. I would lab it a lot so u know when portal will connect based on the angle they are flying. At higher percents I find it a bit easier to get consistent jabs into portals.

@@zf10studios52 to get the enemy to be pulled to the portal you have to line it up with them and they also have to be in hitstun. If they aren’t in hitstun it will send you through portal

@@ninzuh so facts. I did a bit of grinding with banana guard for quests and such, and the gameplay felt so rigid and hollow lmfao I had to swap back to Rick after a while. I wasn’t even losing as him, but Rick feels much more fun to play.
