I absolutely agree. There are a lot of people who hate on companies for copying but for the consumer I think it's great, if a feature is good and will help the consumer then by all means copy it 😁

I mean to be fair the only way to customize icons on android is using a launcher not it's original OS vs iOS it is the official OS with out the need of 3rd party launcher it be nice if samsung OS looked better but that's my option I've had android and iphone so I get the best of both worlds.

I'm an Android phone user but I do all my editing and work on a MacBook! Transfering files in-between different eco-systems can be tedious, but I found an app which makes it all so much easier! Be sure to download the LocalSend app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and have a much easier time transfering files between your different devices 😄

Android is good for sure. I wouldn't say iOS feels like a prison, it does have it's restrictions but the ecosystem works extremely well together.

POV: Using the Apple ecosystem for a week |Could I switch to using all Apple devices? The last iPhone I owned was the iPhone 5S before I made the switch to team Android. I do however use a MacBook Pro as my main work machine for editing videos, and I also have an iPad as a media device. My daily driver phone is the Samsung S24 Ultra coupled with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and the Samsung Buds 2 Pro. My ecosystem has been quite split and doesn’t all gel together as well, and after using an all Apple ecosystem for a few days I can see why people rave on about it! Everything just works so well together it’s amazing. AirDrop between my iPhone, iPad and MacBook is fantastic and convenient. I especially enjoyed the copy and paste between devices, very cool! The AirPods seamlessly switch to whichever device I’m using without the need to reconnect. And I do like the AirPods more than the Buds 2 Pro. I prefer the design, they fit better and I also feel the noise cancellation and transparency modes are superior! The Apple Watch is just such a nice piece of kit! I love the software, how fast and snappy it is and all the little details which set it apart from the competition. I would definitely pick it over the Samsung offerings and I wish they made it compatible with Android 😂 As for the iPhone I do think it’s a great device but personally, I still really just enjoy how the S24 Ultra does a lot of things. Navigation is easier on the Samsung, customization is leagues ahead, and to be fair, those little things like the convenience of AirDrop between devices isn’t really a huge deal for me. It might mean a few extra steps to transfer files between my Samsung and the Mac but it’s not that bad really. The iPhone was definitely very tempting but I think they would have to do a little more to convince me to make the switch. In the meantime I will continue to enjoy both worlds 😁 Let me know your thoughts and comments below ⬇️
