  As you are doing Linux Mint, I have joined your channel I now use LMDE as Windows does not like my old computer any more, and I started Windows in DOS 6 many years ago but now its time to go and Mint was waiting for me, so at the age of 78 I have moved, looking forward to any help, Thanks Bob in the UK

  well idk why but in advanced options theres only startup settings and something called UEFI firmware settings which opens my bios.when i clicked on startuo settings there wasn't the option to uninstall the updates

  @@venkateshkadri7496 no,I'm facing an issue in which my desktop screen turns black and the taskbar starts blinking,and when I try to turn on in safe mode,it shows sihost.exe hard error or something like that,I searched it up on youtube and it said to uninstall the latest updates,but just because I can't see this option to delete the updates I can't really fix the problem

  I went from being elated that this worked to being immediately pissed at Legion for not addressing this. I have a completely different model TWO YEARS from this videos upload. Like WTF. Fun fact: I accidentally did this without knowing the night before when I couldn’t get the screen to come on. And it turned on. I turned it on and off like 5 times to be sure it was good and when I couldn’t it to repeat I thought it was a fluke. The very next day, felt crushed when it happened again. Thank you so much for uploading this solution ❤ You are a saint.

  @@PulsarTECH yeah, you rock dude. Also fun, this issue came back the next day and the trick no longer works. My guess is it’s something BIOS related, since it turns on and never posts. Really excited to learn how to reflash my BIOS🥲 hopefully this chip is compatible with the tools I’m getting. Never really done this before lol.

  i connect a cable cat6 for about 15 or 20 mts, but dosnt reach de 400mbps from muy internet, the 90° degress , maybe that was the fail? or interfirenc for other devices afect the speed?, great video and thanks

Length: Although Cat6 cables can theoretically support up to 100 meters at 1 Gbps, longer cables can experience signal degradation, especially if the quality is not up to standard. However, 15 to 20 meters should generally be fine if the cable is of good quality. 90-Degree Bends: Bending Ethernet cables at sharp 90-degree angles can cause physical damage to the internal wiring, leading to signal loss or interference. Try to minimize sharp bends and instead use gentle curves. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI): Devices like microwaves, cordless phones, and other electronic devices can cause EMI, which can disrupt the signal in Ethernet cables.   Hi, maybe the battery is drained completely. Try to charge it! There's no power on/off button as far as I know, it automatically turns on as soon as there is any device or power adapter is connected to any proper port. The button on the side of the power bank is a function button to toggle between different display readings.Hope this helps!

  Some keys on my keyboard don't work including all F's. So I can't access bios. Is there any possible solution? I don't have any external keyboard. please help anyone thank you

  Hi, when keys on your keyboard, including all function keys (F1-F12), stop working, it can be quite problematic, especially when you need to access the BIOS. Some systems allow alternative ways to access BIOS: Windows: Use the Advanced Startup options. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Under Advanced startup, click Restart now. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware Settings. Click Restart to boot into the BIOS. Hope this helps!

  Hi, how do you connect your monitor? Via HDMI or Display port? If you have more than one port, try another port. Were you able to enter BIOS before?

  @@PulsarTECH oh sorry. I fixed it. I reset the bios on the motherboard and then I was able to enter the bios and see the screen. From there I was able to boot from the USB and then install Linux mint. Thanks

  @@PulsarTECH I did try a lot of stuff. Basically I had to reset the bios on the motherboard and then I had to reset the system twice and then it worked. It was strange. Idk why it didn't work originally. I had windows 10 on it and that was working just not the bios

  If Balena is failing for some reason, you can Rufus a try. It's also a free piece of software and it seems to work better for some people.
