  Nice game. I see only one matchplay mistake: Bad quality footwork/indecision when he gave you time = bad unforced errors. Just a mental not an athletic issue. Been there myself. Aside from that learn a save spinny twohander to mix it up and use less slice and you are good. Enjoyed the vid.

  Allan could be anywhere between 3.5-4.0. Taiyo is about a 4.0 player. If Taiyo had been smart he would have hit more to Allan’s backhand. Not sure why he didn’t.

  @@AllanTennis I think you are more of a 4.0 player than anything else. But I was looking at your one-handed backhand slice specifically. I also think it depends on where in the country you are playing.

  The part that slays is moving up and not getting a chance to play because you are too good. Tennis levels have no solution to this. I know 4.5 players getting destroyed in open divison, but they can still play 4.5 snd 5.0 events because they exist. If there is no 5.0 support besides open (can be a huge jump in level), why does leveled tennis have to drop off for the players? Remind me to stay not good (totally ok being terrible 😂).

  Hey Steven, yeah I noticed my left foot steps up everytime I serve so i stand behind to make sure I don’t foot fault. I think i could defs be closer though because theres still quite some distance before i footfault. Nice catch though

  This was my first singles tournament in 5 years and before that I had literally only played 4 matches. If I had to guess my UTR is 6.5-7 for singles
