2 Great channels in one place!
So I started this channel doing reviews and after doing a job review the response I had was surprisingly overwhelming, and The Warehouse Series came to be. The best way to navigate my channel is through my playlist because there is no order to how I put up my videos. I do not get paid for my reviews by companies so it's an honest review from items we purchase for ourselves. The Warehouse Series is the only place online to get instructional case selection training. I have 24 years experience. So subscribe and enjoy 2 great channels!
Also come join my Discord! This is a unique warehouse community with well over 100 members where we all help each other out. Both KZread and Discord are free to you !

My last job i couldnt stand. Theyd wait till i got up to like waist high to send me to the 100 pound bags of rice.
Warehouses do not care about their selectors
I just started a few weeks ago, but basically told after I was hired that if I don't get to 100% after the 90 days ik going to be let go. I don't know how I'm gonna get my numbers up. I'm working as hard as I can. I need this job.
Are you on my Discord?
@@TheWarehouseSeries No, what's the discord?
Need advice. I'm noob in the warehouse, i work in beer warehouse and there, we are trained to always build on the pallet in the pyramid style, but often times i run into a problem where i end up with big gaps that i have nothing in the order to fill, so i flip the stakes to fill the space, but this later causes another empty space on different side of the pallet and often times have nothing in the order to fill it, so i end up building taller pallets. The manager of the warehouse is also with 20 years of experience, but he only cares about the orders being done and doesn't really care to teach newbies like me how to be space efficient and to build stable pallets, so i end up watching videos like this. I also make that mistake of playing tetris when building the pallet, and often i can't figure out how to use all the space without leaving a hole that later tears my stretch. When for example, i have in the order 20 stakes of 2 liter bottles of beer, i can build a solid base, but when i have 40 items in the order, all 1 to 3 stakes, and with different shapes and sizes, it is difficult for a beginner to figure out how to build a stable, space efficient pallet, when no one teaches you how to start and what to put on what. I often times end up putting whatever smaller thing fits best on the bigger thing and later i just wrap it more with the stretch wrap to keep it stable. We use Euro pallets, don't know if this is relevant. Thanks for the tutorial.
I would say to join Discord and if you can post pictures that would help me understand what you're doing
Drives me crazy to see people putting milk and juice on its side, one guy put eggs on its side, I had to stop him and say something
Eggs on their sides is more common now
Excellent video 🔥💯
Thanks!
I be having plenty of gaps but the slip sheet be holding it together 😂
My trainer hipped me on to that 😂😂 but still can’t hit a 140 😢
@boemyricks6492 being on the correct side of the jack when coming up to the slot, getting on ur jack just to go 2 slots up when u could if walked it, all that time adds up
😆 I have heard the word tetris a lot
Hate it
Ya heard that term before, why do trainers think If u played tetras u can stack. Lol. I been shown how they do it but not actually been instructed how to stack properly. All I been told is it's like tetras. I always have to be quick. Hope your videos help me to do a better job then my trainer.
At Kroger u get onions and potatoes in the same isle but usually we level out and put a pallet before stacking boxes on top
Your videos are more helpful than my trainer does
Definitely happy to help! Come to our Discord community if you haven't already
I started at Sysco not too long ago and honestly that job really isn't that hard, but the damn stacking is getting to me so bad. Stuff keeps falling over and can't get past 50%. Will they fire me after 90 days if I can't hit 100%?
I'm not at Sysco but on Discord we have a lot of people who work there
When I was a new selector at my old warehouse, I only got 2 days training and right when i was on my own I seemed to always get big orders, 250-300 cases which meant a lot of canned stuff and spaghetti sauces. Since my trainer didn't teach me anything I had to figure it out for myself and let me tell you i dropped a lot of pallets in my first 4 to 5 weeks, I had little trouble with the detergent orders and the water orders, but the canned goods and dog food was a nightmare.
Proper training is a must
That first dude got screwed i mean whyyyy would those onions be first on their order
3:23 i would of got fired for that. ah hell nah💀
Im kinda slow what do you mean with a 5 like the last number digit or the number for the box i be skiping my breaks and stll get a low score
Im not 100% sure what you are asking?
Nights also give you high blood pressure and headache
need a video on how to stack diapers
I definitely have videos with diapers. Are you talking the slippery cases?
hey man just subbed . i used to pull for Kehe for about 4 months, but i left cuz my daughter was born and i wanted to be there for the first couple years until she went to school, went to UPS, loved it but couldn't be part time for 8+ years just to be full time. i started working at UNFI, my first week alone, im picking 60% , thought i should give it another go and take it more serious. i feel like i move so fast but im stuck in the 60's. but im just taking it day by day , trying to learn my warehouse. i'm going up in percents everyday even if its just a little. your videos help. i really wanna get this down.
Usually when you're moving fast but throwing low percentages it's because you don't have a system down yet. It can take months. Definitely come over to Discord and try watching some of my selection videos from my channel. I do voice overs to explain why I'm doing what I'm doing.
Sneak some pictures of your work if you can and tag me I them on Discord
@@TheWarehouseSeries yeah listening to your advice, i do take too many steps and touch the same package too many times. let's see how today goes. (ill have to make a discord i'll let u know when i do or find my old password)
just finished my shift, thanks to your videos i'm picking at mid 70% on my 2nd week. i can only see myself going up from here. thank you for all your help so far. i could NOT get out that 60 percentile
@@REDACTEDFILE love hearing it!
Do these tips apply for people that stack on cages and not a pallet?
Some can be used. Are you at Dollar General?
@TheWarehouseSeries No, I'm at Tesco DC.
@@fearsomemxdnight496 I would join Discord, it will be a big help

My building needs to get better. I’m 3 weeks into the job.
Definitely keep watching my videos and join Discord. Both will help
@@TheWarehouseSeries I need to get my speed up. My rate starts off great but as the day goes on it gets worse
I’m 3 weeks in and my building is not so good
It takes time. 99% of people after 3 weeks still build bad
how often did you need to replace the blades or sharpen them? Doing a 600 SqFT place
I did like 1,000 square feet with it and still cuts great
When you do replace your AC make sure you maintain it well (change filters, clean coils, etc) and it will last extremely long!! - I do HVAC
great vid btw
We have it maintenance every year
The only problem with your videos, no hate at all, but if you work in a walmart DC you are required to go atleast twice as fast as this, no joke. if i go at your exact speed im pulling a 65-70% at best. great stacks though brotha. much love
I'm not sure if I mentioned it in this video but any time I was filming to do a voice over, I purposely through slow for training purposes. I can't teach if I'm flying through an order. I also pick times with the least amount of selectors
I also want to mention that our forklift times get combined with selecting. So if I'm at a 140% on forklift and get kicked to selecting, that 140% follows me to selecting
@@TheWarehouseSeries Oh okay, the production requirements are pretty ridicullous at my place anyways, our double 70 cubes in dry goods average about 35 minutes for 100%
That's why I tell my girl I have no friends at my job. I don't talk to anyone I have associates. I come to work get job done. Focus on getting home to my family.
💯
I started my 1st full week and I'm hitting 36% and my highest is 44%, my trainer isn't Mean but could be more helpful on helping me stack. It's already very frustrating
Ive been a selector for 5 months now and i still come to your videos for more tips!
I'm Actually working on starting an ebay store. Working for yourself is where its at!!
1,000%
Bro I’m only good at dairy they moved me to dry and I had a fucked up pallet this is going to help me a lot thank you !
You're welcome! Any questions please feel free to ask
Why is there holes in the bottom of the bag
For water to drain
Did you start up an LLC with your lawn care service?
No, as of right now
12:30 I only spend 10% or less credit cards aren’t for spending got a credit card at 18 20 rn saving for a rental property kzread.info8hhEdTic_Gk?si=Ro8vf265pmMtkbt- kzread.info4BiCnQmOEz0?si=KZV49kJqbTylnudR
“Hell no, ill never buy a new car”🤣🤣🤣 facts🤣💯🔥
Key to Roth I love is all your earnings are tax free also.
Gave them the stone cold solute 🖕🖕
I want you guys to know I'm getting ZERO REVENUE from this video because I said the "F" word. So donations and shopping at my ebay are appropriated
Absolutely great informative video! Tim you are the best
Hey man, I feel for you. It is tough being kicked to the curb by work friends.
If I had 1$ everytime I asked “say again” I would be rich right now 😂
You and me both
Thank you, man. How much more is key Set yourself up for success. 85 at 15 slots, be flat, or have a surface for bulk/quantity pick. Don't struggle
And you said if the order is 45 cube or less you can fly through it right?
Absolutely 💯
I normally don't column stack them either lol 😅,nd those butters I usually put them in the middle, the juice upside down it wouldn't fit upright
Lol
@TheWarehouseSeries I will do better, like giving u something to talk about tho lol
That second pallet you reviewed is for zone stacking. Probably sysco or cbi
I definitely have to keep that in mind
How much did u put in ur 401k and after 26 years how much did u retire with jw and u could talk about that on ur next video
Definitely want to say I'm not retired lol. I just moved on
I can definitely bring that up
Yeah man bring that up because could you have retired a millionaire at 65 if u kept working there?
I know a guy that I work with who's like 6Months from retirement has lil over 1.9 Mil
@@anthonycerna1410 how much % does he put in and you know how long?
💯
I'm not even a selector anymore and i still watch your videos.
Appreciate the support!
Wouldn't wrapping it has you get higher prevent this from falling wraps the pallet as you are stacking
Definitely, but not something you want to rely on because it waste time
I always put the light ones in the middle and heavy ones in the corner
Perfect
I would like to thank you for being the trainer i wish i had at work, i would be making little progression without you. i am fast with everything except stacking and once i got that down im flyin
Very happy to help
5:25 get all your boxes and bottles done first
They gorilla glued that pallet
Lol
