You picked a movie that didn't feature this song in the soundtrack. ("Pretty in Pink" had it)

The 13th Floor Elevators psychedelic sound was great, especially 'Fire Engine'.

What's this film?
@dlbkr26 күн бұрын
The Last Days of Disco (1998). Personally, I think they should have used Pretty in Pink being that the song was actually in the soundtrack for the film.

I lived in Austin Texas in 1974 to 1983 , anyway some friends moved into a house that Roky had lived into, they couldn't get the gas stove to work right, the vent fan wasn't working so they decided to take it off and when they did it was full of peyote buttons, I mean 100s of them, anyway at one point Roky thought that he was an orange 🍊, a big orange 🍊

Another interesting topic to research would be that of the late Stacy Sutherland of the elevators. He had the title for the most drug convictions of any famous guitarists. I want to know what it was like for him in the Texas prison system. The time era he was locked up would have been a really dangerous time to be in prison.

Pretty dramatic also that he died by being accidentally shot with a gun by his wife, who held him while he died in her arms :(

I've been listening to the elevators every day for years. Did not discover them till 2015. I wonder if Rocky unknowingly took STP/DOM. A synthetic Cross between mescaline and amphetamine known to cause violent schizophrenia

Attacking his wife is a bit fucked. As someone who was diagnosed in 2008, I've never attacked anybody. Thats not being schizo thats being asshole. Honestly tuned out a bit following that as im like; fuck this guy. Liked the video presentation and style though, /subbed

Was wondering about that. 😂 It felt like a deliberate joke, though. I do that a lot. Dry or ironic humor is hard to get across online, though. I'll keep doing it, though, because those who get it appreciate it.
