I love the idea of the party randomly being in a unicorn’s forest without knowing it while traveling and then having all these effects take hold and never have them find out why without some serious good rolls or a lot of investigation/research. They can’t start their fire at camp. The rouges curse completely disappears and then comes back the next day as they travel further.
Remember that scene from that episode of The Sweet Life on Deck where they were in the future and they were being threatened by these intimidating aliens that later turned out to be tiny? They’re basically these guys.
So some things that make a fair amount of sense with nagas is that the unnamed mystery race is in fact the Sarrukh one of the creator races of most reptile races. And the reason that Yuan-ti hate the Nagas is that they are both remnants of the shattered empire. (With Yuan-ti taking over the nation similarly to how the Roman empire fell to the goths)
Unicorns looking like horses but not being one and instead a celestiales makes me think of biblically accurate angels and “not deer” combined
is there no ruby dragon?
The funny thing is that I heard the Neogi discovered the Crystal Sphere where the Clockwork Horrors originated (a species that destroyed their creators and annihilated all life in their sphere) and inadvertently led them to discover their homeworld which they then destroyed, the Neogi refuse to admit this. Also, they actually do have an empire in space. Lastly I heard that in Eberron the Neogi were created by the Daelkyr from Dwarfs.

Is been 5 years but I hope you or someone can answer me I liked the video a lot and I'm glad I found a video that matches the vision I have for this school, but something I don't know well it about the transmutation stone, I want to get more info about this object. If it breaks, can I craft another one? How much it will cost? The purpose for the stone is only one, but if I make another can I change the purpose? I read the players handbook but it seems they don't talk much about the transmutation stone. Thanks for the help!
I came up with a sort of Tiefling-esc race based off of unicorns known a "Unicoid's" Unicoid's are what happens when a humanoid of any kind kill's a unicorn, as they are marked with a curse for there evil transgression that will change there appearance drastically: There legs will turn into cloven hooves, not dissimilar in shape to those of a Satyr with coloration of the unicorn they have killed, with there natural hair fallowing suit, there ear's would change shape (but not relocate, they will stay in the same place they where located in before the curse) and a unicorn's horn would sprout from the persons head. Unicoid's are often shunned by whatever society they where from due to there unforgivable act and are usually either exiled or executed out-right upon there discovery, this has lead many to a life of crime, mercenary work, our jobs of debauchery in order to get by. However, be it an act of mercy or an ironic punishment, the curse grants them extended lifespans, whether it's to give them time to seek repentance or to suffer the anguish of there friends and family growing old and dying with nothing but spiteful feelings towards them is unknown. Unicoid's can be made by other means however, as the curse can be carried throughout there bloodline, with Pureblood's being those who where born from Unicoid's reproducing with other humanoid races or even each other, with the name "Pureblood" referring to them inheriting there form from earlier in there bloodline, however they are often seen as untrustworthy as to the naked eye there is no way of distinguishing Pureblood's from Horn-killer's.
Dude just wanted to make Mothra a dnd character
I made my version of the Wendigo come in two variants: the undead "lesser" Wendigo which devours souls until it becomes a demonic "greater" variant. Both are pretty stand-alone monsters, not really going to be encountered in groups or with other monsters, so I made sure they had the stat-block to go toe-to-toes with a group of adventurers. Action economy is the greatest downfall to any amount of tension in a fight, so they have enough attacks in a round to severely deplete a group's resources in an encounter, or straight up kill even the tankiest player character in a 1-on-1 fight; the greater variant can get upwards of 5 attacks per round with a pretty good chance of poisoning a character with a curse. The wendigo is a terrifying cryptid and I wanted the stat block to reflect that. Don't get into a fight with a wendigo; it will kill you, it will eat you, and it will make you part of it.
I've heard legend of a Canadian that once got so mad at the moon, he opened himself up to the hate of the goose, and became a three-story tall goose hydra, with the heads of Morgan Freeman. Needless to say, the moon was defeated, and the world ran into ruin without it.
I had been terrorized by geese for years.
I cannot tell you how often I get "spare the dying"ed and I just do a test roll to see what my next RIP roll would be and it's a nat 20. Worst spell... shame on cleric.
There is one subclass that could allow you to homebrew your own potion: Alchemist Artificer
:)
Im #1 Flumph hater I don’t trust them to many legs and those devious eyes
Fun fact, the unicorn is actually us, the scottish's national animal, and in ancient text is the supposed predator of the lion Scotland forever, happy pride
3:11 anime source?
Um, AkChuasilgkdbhfyugbbsrouthdfghdfiojhlly, Blink makes you teleport in and out of the astral plane, not around. the spell that lets you continue teleporting around is far step.
I am playing a simplified DND game with my wife and kids. My six-year-old daughter insisted on playing as a unicorn. We are using elf wizard stats but her mini is a unicorn.
I think I have the best use of the alchemy jug, I had a dragonborn artificer who poured the salt water from the jug into a leather shield, used two swords as an anode and cathode and used his lightning breath to cause electrolysis to happen and create a bunch of h2 gas which exploded. I did a bunch of math with how many mol of h20 and how many mol of h2 would be created and used a bunch of numbers I found from a tesla coil research page and power from actual lightning bolts and it came out to like 700 sticks of tnt. So yeah I used an alchemy jug to blow up a city block.
"Bears scare the shit out of kobolds." They scare the shit out of everyone, dude.
Kobold: Is it racist if it's deserved, though?
I guarantee you.... owls are not silent when they fly
im begging you to stream planescape torment
Oh no, I'm gay now! Why did I have to watch the video all the way to the end?
Wait, I'm only gay NOW?! Gotta have a chat with my partner....
I once nailed a bunch of legs to a boat, and animated them so they could kick in the water or walk us over land
Oh don't say sorry. It'll be gone from me within a month.
Hmm... well, aside from Gygax and his croonies wanting to fill more than a small blurb on a page with 'stuff' to spend your coin on, there were practical uses for every bit of it. Even more so if your a bit of a McGyver, you know? That acid was never 'defined' i.e., we never knew 'what sort' of acid it was. So when a clever player mused, "Hey, what if we pour some of that over priced acid on to that lock!?!" It was generally allowed and agreed upon around the table that the idea had merit, working or not. Lantern? C'mon, man. Ever tried to keep a candle lit in the wind? Poison has many uses, although most 'good' players won't think of them. Like, coating your blades before combat or 'getting rid of those pesky varmints' haunting your castle, and the occasional associate who poured acid onto one too many lanterns for their own good. Ball bearings? What? Are you serious? Awesome stuff, ball bearings. Starting with, 'hey! you can shoot them using slings' to slowing down that pesky ogre hell bent on asking you why you threw that acid bottle.
nice idea but way too gay
I think the only way to kill a vampire troll would be to throw it into running water, which does acid damage for some reason. I think it'd be an interesting case of solving a classic vampire weakness against sunlight with the classic troll weakness against sunlight; it won't kill them, like a vampire, but it will turn them to stone, just delaying the problem until sun-down and you get a pissed off and starving cloud of mist sucking the blood from everyone's pores.
Wait, what do I get if I’m already gay? 😧
Magic of randomness.
4:34 just a heads up there's no non slur use case of the G-word. Just abandon it. Don't say it.
The chains on the unicorn in the UK Coat of Arms, those chains were first added by the Scottish version and were a motif of Scottish heraldry centuries before 1603 (When our King James VI becomes King James I of England). Also I disagree that rainbows and equines can't be masculine; the horn is clearly a very phallic motif.
I think it’s adorable that you think gross freaks and literature is limited to the 1500s. The real timeline is since written word existed to now.
Thank you so much for your informal video about dwarves currently trying to make a civil dispute more interesting between elves of all kinds against dwarves in this was a big help.
I put my party against an ettercap led spider ambush, and it was the deadliest thing at that point in the campaign. For context, these guys just beat a WHITE DRAGON the encounter before.
What does "Brood Twice Daily" means?
Happy pride month!🎉…. SCOTLAND FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡
Ghey. Sin month.
2:54 did you mean omniscient? all the examples you mentioned are of omniscience, not omnipotence.
In all honesty, Pan, despite all his antics, is only average for a Greek god. Zeus, Poseidon, Hermes, Apollo, they all bad. Pretty much any interaction between a mortal and a god, male or female or hermaphroditus, turned out poorly for the mortal. "What's that? Zeus forced himself on you? Well, here's a curse to go along with it." -Every interaction Hera has had with any of Zeus's flings.
