  There should be a warning label on these things for REAL! I had some for the first time and they were absolutely delicious def one of my top 3 fav fruits. However, the next morning I got up to get ready for the day went to the bathroom and my urine was crazy dark red. I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT I WAS DYING 😂. I thought one of my organs must be failing. After I calmed down and thought about everything I ate and drank I narrowed it down to the fruit and went to google and found the dragon fruit was the culprit. Another time I woke up to discover my tongue was black and had a similar freak out and that was because of Pepto Bismol. Anything that you eat or drink that causes a change in you should have a warning so that you don’t die from shock or a panic attack.

  Rosella should be picked after it has bloomed and the fruit part around the seedpod has become plump and juicy. The fruit can be picked when it is still green or slightly reddish and firm to the touch.
