Whats your thoughts on the birchwood casey rust and blue remover? Im afraid to use it and the touch up blueing not match very well with the existing blueing. If i use the rust/blue remover. Should it just completely re do the barrel? I did a pretty rough spot removing the rust and most the pitting by hand and it's noticable if you look for it. After reblueing. May try again with the heat. Should i reheat for each apllication?

Great presentation and nicely staged set but, all this information could have been presented in little more than 1 minute. Isopropyl alcohol, fine artist or make up brushes , patch cloth and your done. It was just a clean and no more. The scope was in very good condition for its age, before he started.

Weaver has proven to be easily the greatest scope brand of all time (vintage/pre 00s!!) and I’m only 27 and already spent near $2k on those products over past 2 months!! Half of that was gladly spent w/ these guys. This is def an idea I sure as hell wish I thought of!!

On the gun, do you have to reheat every time you put on a new coat of bluing?
