We are Rebecca & Pierre Gouttenoire.
We have a strong focus on local food and wine, and through our tour operator Grape Tours, we offer day tours from Florence but also multiple-day tours in other regions (www.tuscan-wine-tours.com).
In 2021 we opened a cheese and wine shop called Formaggioteca Terroir which you can visit in downtown Florence, Italy (www.formaggiotecaterroir.it) - it was awarded Cheese Bar of the Year in 2023 by the italian Cheese Awards.
As of 2022, we acquired an old Tuscan farmhouse in Chianti Classico called Campo Sasso, and in 2024 it is featuring on HGTV/MAX "Fixer to Fabulous - Italiano" (www.camposasso.com).
Our new series "What's Cookin' at Campo Sasso" is a cooking show where we invite different chefs to come cook a cheesy recipe and share it with you all...

Wow, Beautiful Wine Shop. My idea of Heaven. Daniel NYC .
I used to live in the countryside near Radda with my family in the late 70s and early 80s. We shopped for groceries at Porciatti's, and the rare times I go back to visit, I stop by to say hello. So many memories of going to Sunday mass, having a coffee in one of those two caffe', walking in the main street and around the walls overlooking that great green valley. Not much has changed there, both my parents have passed now, but I still treasure those memories of a past so distant it doesn't feel real anymore.
Wow this is so lovely to read. Radda has a place in many people’s hearts!
Great video Rebecca and Fabrizio! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Follow up question for Fabrizio, how does he keep that orchid looking so beautiful?! Ha. Great video I am enjoying this so much
You know I was thinking the exact same thing?! I had a beautiful orchid for about 2 months then it totally gave up on me 😂

Great video. Love the videography.
The Super Chianti tour is the best day ever!
I has testaroli for the first time just 2 weeks ago on a trip to Lucca. So good! Thank you for the recipe, this version looks amazing!
It’s a very regional dish hard to find outside the northwestern corner of Tuscany. I hope you’ll try the recipe and that it turns out delicious!
That dish looks AMAZING!! 🤤🤤🤤
Thanks Jason! I was delicious 😋
One of the best cheeses ever !!! ... 😊
I love your content, Elizabetta! Thank you for sharing yourself and your beautiful vineyards! Thank you for sharing Elizabetta, Grape Insiders!
I think this combination of different varieties will make very interesting blends, no? Or is combining them not the intention?
We are planning on a blend - thankfully we still have a few years to think about how we want to craft the wine ;)
Wonderful! When do you expect to open your first bottle?
This was so fun to watch and learn about this delicious, spring dish. I'm amazed by what you guys have created! Congratulations and much continued success!
Thanks so much! You must come visit one day 😊
I have enjoyed a tasting menu at their beautiful restaurant, superb! Can't wait to visit your cheese and wine store next time I am in Florence.

Thank you Dora for your words of encouragement 😁
My mouth is watering!
Words cannot express how delicious this dish was! The day after we tried the recipe ourselves, it was just as delicious - but not as pretty 😅
What a lovely first video! I watched the build-out and renovation of Campo Sasso, done by Jenny and Dave of Fixer Fabulous. What a process! It is such a magical place! I have never been to Italy and hope to visit some day. Campo Sasso certainly encompasses the beauty and splendor of the area. Well done! x
Thanks a million for the kind words! Happy we can connect even if just virtually, at least for the moment! To many happy meals and travels 🙌
Rebecca and Pierre we love the videos as it reminds us of the 3 wonderful tours we have taken with you folks. We can’t wait to get back to Italy and hopefully stay at the farm house. Caio
Thanks a million for all your support 🥰
Campo Sasso is so beautiful. And you are so talented in do many realms! How have you produced your own wine already? I’m impressed!
Mary thanks so much! Our wine is a selection made by Pierre in partnership with La Novella, the winery that Campo Sasso is situated within ;)
Buongiorno :-) Having just returned from my first ever visit to Italy, I cannot wait to return!! I am in love with the people, the beautiful regions and, of course, the food and wines. We walked by Formaggioteca Terrior and were so enthralled that none of us took pictures. Thank you so much, Rebecca and Pierre, for sharing your story and the renovation of Campo Sasso. My greatest hope is to be able to stay at Campo Sasso in the future! I am looking forward to making this recipe.
Awww thanks so much for your positive feedback! I hope you will be back one day, and in the meantime cook a lot of good Italian recipes...
You definitely have the Midas touch.. Formaggioteca terroir is my best place in Florence to go for excellent chesees, cured meats and wines. And now, Campo Sasso. So eager to come and visit you. And your first foodies are great.
Thank you Simone 😘
Absolutely divine ! How do we rent this villa?
Thanks 🙏 You can see our website www.camposasso.com
I’m going to Italy in September and would love an experience like this! Was it a one time thing or do you have information for us to find it?
Hi, so I wrote a blog post last summer of 7 vineyard dinners in Tuscany that you can check out here: www.tuscan-wine-tours.com/post/7-wineries-in-tuscany-to-have-dinner-in-the-vineyard
What is the planting tool called and who is it made by?
I love this Season! I love Italy!
My wife and I just watched the TV show Are the rooms ready?
Thanks for asking and sorry for the late reply. We're opening in June 🤗
I’m 100% Italian. My parents immigrated to California after their first child was born. 1958. We are northern Italian. Piemonte. I have a problem that this couple, the woman being Dutch, the man French, bought a house In Chianti to make a house and business rental to give people a “Tuscan” experience? They are not even Italian! I find this stupid and insulting! The man is French. Why didn’t they buy a house in France and give people a French experience? I really felt upset about this. Also, to be clear, Italians really don’t like the French or Dutch or German.. or basically people from any other country, buying their Italian property. No wonder the contractors took so long to get the work done. Trust me, a lot of this is because they just don’t like foreigners. The Americans did a good job despite the many obstacles. They were friendly, polite and have skills. The foreign owners were annoying. That’s why Italians don’t care for the French or Dutch or most foreigners. I’m just being blatantly honest. Don’t hate the player, hate the game. It’s just the way it is. Again, I think it’s really weird and stupid for non Italians buying an Italian farm house In Chianti, to give tourists..a foreigner in Italy take on the Italian experience? It’s just insulting to Italians!
Well, thanks for your "honesty", but people's stories are usually more complex than what is clipped into a show... As I'm sure you love your home country even though you are 100% Italian (Italy being a country that has only existed for around 150 years as I'm sure you know), I have made Italy my home for 30 years now and speak Italian with a Tuscan accent! I came with 1 suitcase (as I'm sure your parents came with little when they arrived in the US). Foreigners or immigrants always must work harder to create their space in a foreign country, but if they create worth and value they are welcomed and liked by most, no matter their origin.
❤
Nice❤
What is the name lf the winery?
It is La Pia Percussina in San Casciano
Wonderful video I hope to see volpaia in April
Was there with school years ago and I'm happy this store is still around. The ice cream was unlike any ice cream I ever tasted. Can't wait to go back! I have to eat the passion fruit at least once more in my life. Actual insane how much falvor he is capable of putting it in ice cream.
Utterly beautiful... especially a pleasure to host such kind and curious Americans ❤🎉
So gooood
buon appetito, cari xD che bel posto! Look look, battered zucchini...
