Hi, i tried plugging a 3s onto my 16889 brushed and the car is not able to bind to the controller. Seems esc on mine cant handle 3s voltage. LED light just kept on blinking
@@sooolion9820 they may have changed the ESC to not be able to support 3S any longer
Hi. Nice video, buddy ! That was an unboxing and first use. Great. However, how about your experience in the real course ? ESWing also sells Model 12, M12-1 and M12-3, but no one of them has a charmy front suspension like this one. What's your opinion about that ?
@@luizpalmiro886 I made a second video on my channel where I used it for 18 holes. Check it out!
Great vid! It was a pleasure meeting you at the event (and thanks again for the assist with setting up my canopy)!
@@rustyscrewsrc nice to meetcha as well! Epic builds! Subbed 😎
cool stuff lots of old dudes there doing Rc stuff.. can relate.. N x
What camera are you using on the sentin
I use this for on-board shots! amzn.to/3LaBHfT
Right on man that’s awesome yeah I didn’t even realize that had a camera in there when it ripped past me haha I just got a couple fpv set ups recently an wish I would have thought to use one there haha🤘🏽
I was going to fly FPV there but Im still on analog and didn't want to get taken out of the sky by the digital guys lol
@@413RC oh yeah that would make some killer footage too man maybe next year we’ll have to ask people to hold for the air for a bit cause fpv would be so epic chasing some Arrma cars and just ripping around the FF in general haha
Raise hell, praise Dale! Badass video my friend!!!
@@FromthePits thanks man! Can went to learn some oval tips when you come down and christen the new track!
@@413RC can’t wait for this one brotha, I sure have an itch to scratch. I’ll gladly share any info I have with you. It’s going to be epic to run a Madness Dirt Oval, I’m hoping for a weekend schedule there. I’m an hour and a half away from Madness.
Great video bro! I absolutely loved the Dale car, my favorite paint design out there. My best friend won the custom big rock and has been driving it like a mad man.
@@Randomgaming86 that’s awesome!!! He deserved it after wrenching on his Mojave all weekend lol
Nice
Rusty walls experience does that mean you get to flip the car. Rusty had some of the most spectacular NASCAR wrecks back in the day
In your opinion, how rideable would this be for an adult who does not want to use the electric motor but instead wants to use it as a manual kick scooter on a trail. Asking for a disabled young adult relative who has outgrown the weight limit of their beloved kids 3 wheel kick scooter. Wondering if this scooter can be used as a manual kick scooter w/out the electric assist. Your thoughts?
Interesting question for sure! I dont think this would be the right scooter though. It is fairly heavy and overbuilt to use as a kick scooter. You could use the motor to assist in kicking and riding. There is also a bit of a learning curve to riding this as the handle bars do not turn on a swivel. instead, you lean the entire scooter to turn left or right. Check out my other video I did on this to see it in action
@@413RC thank you for the reply. The three-wheel scooter my family member uses works the same way - leaning to turn it. He has been using the kick scooter for many years, but recently exceeded the weight capacity and the scooter broke in half while he was riding it. He is autistic and heartbroken to lose the use of his scooter. We may contact one of the companies that makes adult electric three wheel scooters to find out if they would sell one without the motor and batter. Because my family member is autistic and a bit of a daredevil, we don’t think it is safe for him to have an electric scooter LOL because he would likely see how fast he could ride it around the neighborhood.
I forgot to mention there are no manufacturers that make non-electric three wheel kick scooters for adults and the ones made for for kids all have a weight capacity of 220 lbs. My family member is 235 lbs - tall and large. This is why we are looking at some of the electric three wheel golf scooters as a possibility, and ordering w/out the motor and battery. He has gotten so much daily use and joy out of his non-electric kids three wheel scooter, that we are hoping to find something that will be heavy-duty enough to support his weight and similar to what he is used to.
It can run 3s but it's not recommended keep an eye on the esc and motor. The 3s is too much power for a 45esc to consistently handle
correct
Nice but my wheels keep falling off do you have any suggestions?!
@@What_A_Instrument only the wheel? Are you tightening them fully? Try loctite
@@413RC my man I tried some loctite and now they are so much better, yes I was tightening them enough but funny thing when they popped off the little screw what’s loose and you could hear it rattle.
@@What_A_Instrument Glad you got it fixed!
What camera did you mount on the rc to film the driving video? Is it a gopro?
It was this! www.amazon.com/dp/B08Y1P3CQ8/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_GHHN91031QH1WM0ZMB19?linkCode=ml2&tag=413rc04-20

At 1:00 What is the model of the red car stand? I need one!
Check it out: amzn.to/3VCq2ep
Does anyone know the height of the tires?
could you let me know what the wheelbase measurement is? ive been looking for a car to mount old vintage oval bodies on and im sure alot of the bodies are around 10-and a half or so. but amazing video and info on this. good job great car! thank you.
Put 3S system different ESC on your little mini T they got those things doing almost 90 mile an hour like a 9000 kv on 3S it’ll scream
Great points ,details and explanations with demonstrations as well lad, will definitely give it a thumbs up👍
On sale for $90 right now
That roughly $300 why wouldn’t you go with Arma or Traxxas? You could almost get a four-wheel-drive Traxxas/for that price
Mine is defected, it's unresponsive to the remote and it immediately drove across the street when I turned it on
Amazon buy? Return it
@@413RC Just did
I cant get mince to reverse, is this how it is meant to be or did it come out of the box broken in some way?
Have you tried double tapping or even triple tapping reverse? Still nothing?
@@413RC I talked with the support and we could confirm that the ESC was programmed wrong and it just wont go reverse. They are sending me a new ESC and a bottle of oil 550. Good guys over at Hobbex!
The wheelie bar is challenging to put on
👍 nice shot
I feel like my rear tire aims in is that normal?
It's called "toe" and it helps cars drive better in a straight line. some cars you can adjust it on while others it is stationary
@413RC I jumped it and the rear frame or a arm broke
Just getting into this rc world and this car is awesome!
Absolutely a great first street basher
Hello, how big is the battery compartment? Thanks for the info
Great job comparing these 2 RC's. I noticed that you said the grom was 1/14th scale. The spec sheet from Arrma indicates that it's an 1/18 scale. Perhaps it's a typo? I do agree that the Typhon grom is very stable and great off jumps. It just needs a bit more punch.
It is weird they call it a 1/18 scale. Thanks for the kind words and I do agree it needs a little more punch but that can be easily upgraded
@@413RC I'm not real well versed on RC's but I only mentioned it because I did a video and called it an 1/18th scale. Your presentation and coverage of the Grom was much better than mine. It's a super RC for the price. Clear bodies are very reasonable as are tires and shocks. Upgrades for most cars can run 3 to 4 times more than the original cost of the car so I give it 5 stars because it's much less than outfitting a 3s or 6s Typhon but then again it wont go places the 1/8 scale Typhon can.
Best thing I’ve done since having one of these
Subbed 👍
Thanks brotha! You are just 1 more excuse I have to bring the GF to Hawaii 😂 absolutely epic weekend. Hope you and the family had fun
Mine does 49 mph on 3 s at half throttle no joke I used my skyrc reader to check the speed and it was dark
Definitely not
skinny sweatpants and flip-flops??? Man Card..... CANCELLED!
Am I a pretty girl?
Do it for Dale!!👍
SHHHHH!
It’s going to be awesome!
Excellent video thank you, I agree with you that it’s a great little car but at high speed it is almost impossible to control which kept me in repair mode but with a 2S battery and 3/4 power I have an absolute buy it with this little car, and I do agree that the car is too expensive, the only thing that’s cheap today is bananas
What a great video 😀🤙
THANK YOU SIR!
Definitely adding one of these to the collection! 50mph out of the box?😳😎🤘🏼 Thanks for sharing.
Definitely a little rocket! And part availability is great
@@413RC Win/Win!!!
I’m curious about one of these just for fun. For the price, why not add one to the collection. See You soon up at Madness.
Excellent content, definitely food for thought there.
Thanks for the vid
Thanks for watching!
Question, what are the tools needed for this?
Most cars simply use a standard hex tool kit like this amzn.to/4dtPXNA
@@413RC Thank you! New to this hobby, been doing a lot of research before hopping in.
@@louieiran5084 Its an awesome hobby with alot to learn. most are very helpful and there are rc cars for every skill level and budget. Here to help!
Are all transmitters standard? Lets say ill just buy an aftermarket transmitter, would it be compatible?
@@louieiran5084 depending on what remote you buy you can buy additional receivers that are compatible with that specific type of remote. Like Spektrum or Dumbo, you can put multiple cares on 1 remote
The WLtoys 104001 and 104002 are, except for maybe one or two parts, identical to the XRay XB4 RC Buggy. There is a video out on it.
Those are go-cart cars 🚗 I wouldn't go over 40m per hrs with that go-cart neither would a professional race car driver unless u have death wish

Awesome spot! Met a few more crawlers while there
New here! Also from northern berkshire county! Found you through the horizon hobby post for the freedom factory event.
WOAH! That’s awesome! Super excited about the event!!!
Losi is notorious lately for discontinuing products after short periods of time. Honestly it's frustrating to me. So many great cars mothballed...
It’s weird because I thought it was but now it’s back for sale everywhere
Last I saw they had only discontinued the red one. Not sure if they've carried on with it or what though. Don't really want to be stocking up on parts a couple months after getting it...
I do want to upgrade the wobbly steering but $$$ says I gotta wait 😂😊
