It blows my mind, they shut down failing schools or stop them hiring new teachers vs. Fixing the problem. So then other school get an influx of students, in turn causing the school to begin to fail as well.

We ask governments in all countries to unite bridge pillars as high as one or two meters so that if a car hits a bridge support it can still slide not as badly as a car hits a bridge pillar so that an accident hitting pillar like what happened to princess Diana does not happen again sorry and thank you

you know the problem is and the goverment know it its the same as prisons underfunded but in schools the other problem is all this luvy duvy think of the kids emtional well being which in the real world kids can do wat they like tell teacher to f off disrupt and cause mayhem and then when they leave they end up in prison the school prison pipeline but the teacher said it all were not allowed to shout asnd that there lies at the heart of the problem kids have no fear of consequences and they know because of all this bull that is in schools now about disciplining them is all out of the window in case we upset them or hurt heir feelings and that is the core of the problem no respect for anything but not all kids and prob all of them really but if their taught that their special and do what ya like and the kids know theres nothing they can do this is how it ends up

I know many children and young people with additional needs and they don't behave like this. It's unfair to those children who have genuine learning difficulties and additional needs to put these kids in the same category. Any pupils who originally wanted to try and learn would just give up and these children are being neglected.

Treating bad behaviour as a legitimate learning disability has been such a mistake, which is so clearly demonstrated by the school brave enough to insist on discipline. Frankly i was surprised to see it actually working on kids quite capable of those rather frightening outbursts It looks so hopeless, I didn't think kids could respond appropriately. Yes I'm over 50 and don't understand what creates a world of children who seem utterly hopeless. Gratified to see discipline can achieve an environment safe for kids to learn

This is Labour's legacy. Blame New Labour's educational reforms for this. The teacher featured, Alex, was suspended by the General Teaching Council for a year, for doing this programme. On one level I can understand that but on another, all she has done is highlight things that needed to be improved. She is now a TV weather presenter and has done a show on Sky as well, so I guess it didn't work out too badly for her and she must have known that might be the result when she made this all those years ago. The big question is, have the problems highlighted been resolved in the last 14 years?

I stumbled across this and was sad to say I am not suprised at all. Kids aren't fighting as much but it is still incredibly challenging. sad because there are lots of good kids there who don't get to learn.

THERE are not enough drug eduction systems in place for people without drug users in the family. Taking a suck of the devils dick is never a good idea. That's what a lot of drugs can seem like. Paisley is no different from other towns and villages. Unemployment poverty and no sign of work .can accelerate depression on a society level. It's not pretty to watch. As a paisley man 40 year. I have known about lot of lads that have died from this affliction of Paisley. And some of them were from good homes and wealthy parents. It's the peddlers hat are to blame..

It's mainly Taxation. Those EU subsidies have to come from somewhere. But you ought to try downunder Australia and the Australia tax, where things cost more, just because you have less competition downunder. Simple. You guys in ol Blighty have a competition squeezing EU bureaucracy issuing USSR type centralist policy. What could possibly go wrong? Leave the EU, you'll be right. Get the ol Commonwealth back, we'll work together.

That research about people eating less fruit and veg, especially is misleading to assume it is because of prices. Many fruits cost the same as if not less than a bar of chocolate, and a can of fizzy drink. It is down to parents bringing their kids up on junk and processed food.
