Anyone know what that shirking sound is supposed to be? It’s part of the rides audio so I know it has to mean something story wise. But what?
@doinjusfine14 күн бұрын
I think.. my opinion.... is that the Yeti only comes out and causes problems when the weather is bad. So the tracks being torn up by the Yeti my gave happen in a blizzard. The sounds represent the howling winds sweeping around the mountains and the erry shrill is part of the forbidden area being trespassed on.

TAME RABBITS!! Thank you for doing a walk through....This resort does not get a lot of love in video and harder to research than some others. Can you confirm if the drink machines in at the food court are closed overnight? Or if there might be some open at the pool? We will be there soon and am a little concerned since the food court does not open until 7.
@doinjusfine114 күн бұрын
I don't know about the drink machines in the food court but I am leaning towards they are closed at night. We usually drink bottle drinks and or bring our own. Sorry I'm not much help on that subject. I agree the resort dosent get the love it deserves. Thank you for watching !!

Nice video but I have some constructive comments: Some of the original screw wires were wired incorrectly as the “shepard’s hook” should go around the screw in a clockwise direction when you tighten the screw as an electrician would never to it the other way. Suggest using a $2-3 dollar commercial switches with screw back plate wiring, NOT PUSH IN BACK STABBING tat is found on cheaper 99 cent switches. Commercial switches will last longer in high traffic on/off environments. Each switch needs to be grounded via their each ground screw for electrical safety. In the case of switches, you test the switch with one lead on the screw and the other lead to the ground wire inside the box, not both leads on each screw at the same time. Do the same thing on the other screw to ground to see that one is live instead.
@doinjusfine1Ай бұрын
Very good input !! Thank you!

The green screws are for ground wires. A lot of electricians are lazy and don’t bother to ground them during initial construction.

20 years is a baby home. 120 years, now your getting into a older home. A properly built home should last a 150 years, as long as it's maintained. An at new houses going at up to a half a million dollars today, they should last 200 to get your moneys worth. My house was built in 1950 and the 74 year old switches are still working great. But I agree those original switches which you had were not the best, even back then.
@doinjusfine1Ай бұрын
Yes is agree. At the cost of things now we have to make them last. Thank you for the comment !!

You attached the wire in the wrong direction on the first and third switch. Wires should always wrap around the terminal screw in a clockwise direction. That way when you tighten it up the screw pulls the wire around to help close the loop and make a better connection. i know this is a cosmetic thing, but most electricians will put all the slots of the screws in the same direction. Sometimes It's just the little things that make the job more professional looking

Also, once proper breaker(s) are turned off, I put a piece of red electrical tape across the breaker handle so as to let others know not to turn it on. If you have a breaker lockout that's even better.
