    I have 5 guns; they are all garbage. I cant wait to use AI and 3d printing to make a gun that doesent jam...Makita, Dewault and craftsman all jam and suck ass. The jam to sucesz ratio us horrible for these guns. Only if someone had time to compate theM ALL AND WHICH is the most reliable

    I might actually go for the rustoleum, because I'm going for a more vintage, colonial america look, and then do a clear non-yellowing finish over the top. Great video!

    I used the water-based Minwax true black and it came out with blue waves turning grey to black and looks great , I was using a grey slate trying to get the grey-blue look to match our walls and it wasn't working out, I never thought to use a black when trying to get a blue grey finish till I saw someone using true black and was upset about the blue that was coming out lol , light bulb flash hahaha...

    We did an episode on kool aid. It’s super fun. Difficult to get a deep color though.

    I think #1 is the most important (and most neglected in my shop)! I rarely sharpen my chisels, and my mediocre results are a testament to it haha! Plus, sharp chisels are safer than dull ones because you don’t have to beat and force them to do stuff. Great job Dom!

    I wouldn't do that. The stain is supposed to go into the wood. The shellac will coat the wood first and clog the pores of the wood.

    It’s a diluted dewaxed shellac. It’s very common to prestain with it. The point is that it fills in the pores and creates an even surface for the stain. Especially on soft woods that absorb too much and get splotchy.

    I think dad used his when he was putting in floating floor. Easy to cut pieces straight without using a miter saw or bigger circular saw

    @@FridayWorkshop I had a corded version from a different brand but honestly I really liked the ergonomics and most attic flooring is only 5/8" thick so a 4 1/2" blade is plenty! I bet the DeWalt version is miles better than even the one I had though!
