Do you still have to bleed the master cylinder if you do it this way?
worthless junk. They "do a task" VERY poorly and save NO time. Confirmed with TTC kzread.info/dash/bejne/fIqNksduo8e9qJc.html
Sorry you've had a negative experience with a similar product. The product featured in that linked TTC video is not our product. Ours have over 841 global ratings and currently rated 4.7 out of 5 stars - so its safe to say they work well for the large majority of our customers! We also do our own testing in the development process to confirm specs. If you have any questions about our torque bars, feel free to reach out! Have a great day!
@@ARESTool yea? Well so do the others. They and your are still pointless trash for oil change hacks.
We're not entirely sure what you mean by oil change hacks, but we'd only recommend these for high torque projects like wheels as shown in our video.
Showing them with a cordless impact wrench is an interesting take. We find they don't work too well with the IPM of cordless tools
What water based solution did you use in this demonstration? Thank you!
For this one we used Oil Eater Cleaner Degreaser
Curious can these be used in tandem, one to another?
They can!
That looks like it will Make life easier.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Are you taking a ground off of a peace of plastic? I dont know how good or bad this tool set is but the dude doing the demo makes the set look bad.
It may be hard to see with the engine cover, but the grounding strap is not mounted to plastic.
@@ARESTool I do own some Ares tools so far no issues and your prices are reasonable.
Love to hear it! 🙌 We aim to find the balance between quality & affordability. Thanks for engaging and sending us feedback!
I use ares tools to build my race cars and we beat on em alot and they hold up good for me!!!!! My favorite tool so far is their 6" adjustable wrench part number 79001-6 and it works great for everything.
Will these be back in stock anytime soon or is this discontinued?
This will be back! Hoping in a few months 💪
Yeah sadly can’t get the combination off, my dumbass got it stuck
Oh no! Give us a call/message, we have tech support who may be able to help you out! arestool.onsitesupport.io/

Waiting for these to be back in stock to buy them
These should be restocked any day now! 🔥
@@ARESTool man I am waiting for them to lol want them so bad thanks for responding
They're back in stock! 🔥
@@ARESTool oh I know 😂 seen it on Amazon and bought it right away
Does it work on stainless steel brake lines?
They do!
This is next on my list🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
👍
The link posted in the description takes me to the page for the 72 tooth flex head ratchet set instead of the one in this video 🤔
Sorry about that! Thank you for pointing that out - we've corrected it. Here is the correct link if it's still needed: bit.ly/3VZmZyV
They look like the old Blackhawk series from Proto. They were made by Tone I believe. Anyways they look like a nice set.
Will this tool work on the chevy 5.7 V8 liter heads ?
Can I add clips to bottom as well as top?
Yes, these ones are able to slide on both directions! We'd recommend the locking end cap style over the rubber so it can secure the weight better if you load them up!
It would work well for changing motor bike tires
Что это?
Ares tool😂😂😂
❤❤❤
That's a neat tool. but I think we're going to end up with a lot of broken wrenches
I bought 2 of them I liked them so much . Hope you guys come out with some full size file and file sets
👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the video....i was struggling for days trying to get the Springs off using a Harbor Freight overhead valve spring compressor on Mopar 440 heads, where the device hooks onto the springs and one twists to tighten.....no dice..... I ordered a large scissor type spring compressor like the one in the video, i managed to get two springs off but the valve compressor ended up bending.... probably because i didn't know how to use it. So i bought the Harbor freight Maddox spring compressor AND I read the instructions First: unscrew the valve cup and bottom valve screw so it fits over the head, then lock down the spring compressor, make sure it is centered over the spring AND valve bottom. Leave the spring compressor loose. Second: Tighten the valve cup that goes on spring, so that the spring compressor is snug on valve centers. Make sure the valve cup that goes on spring and bottom valve screw are centered!! Third: Start cranking the bottom valve screw until the valve keepers let go.
Sorry to hear of your struggle but happy to hear that this was helpful for you! Some specialty tools are easier explained in a video like this than a written manual. We appreciate the comment and feedback! In the future, if you need any support, please feel free to reach out - we're happy to walk you through the process with any of our items.
Can i get one plz ? First comment. (-:
does the adapter that comes with it fit a 2009 chevy impala?
Thanks for your question! We don’t have an exhaustive list of make and model for these adapters, but we're happy to look into this and see what adapter you might need. All we need is the measurement of your master cylinder reservoir cap (inner diameter and outer diameter, if possible), as well as the the locking mechanism used to secure the cap (three-tab lock, threaded neck, etc.). We can then cross-reference our cap offerings for the specific fit!
Alternatively we have a universal and compatible cap (18035) that is a safe bet.
Awsome😊
So is it pass through or not? Sheesh, no view.
If pass through you mean an internal center clearance, yes! The clearance matches the drive size.
That's one of my favorite ratchets
Is this for one person operation? I've been using HF Holt Fluid extractor, is there any advantage comparing to hand pump fluid extractor at the caliper (suction mode) as oppose to generating pressure from the master cylinder (push mode)?
Great questions! This is a one person operation kit. This 18053 set is great for a complete brake system fluid flush. It makes it clean and easy, and you generally won't run out of fluid during service. A caliper bleeder, like our 70923 for example. is great for just doing a simple brake job when you don't need to service the whole system. It offers easy set up and operation, and great for quick service.
Lifetime warranty?
Yes! These ones qualify for our Lifetime Warranty www.arestool.com/pages/warranty
Awesome!!!!
Can this tool be used to strictly evacuate fluid? Can I pressurize the bleeder with straight air and remove the fluid that way? I would eventually be refilling after a frame swap.
If we're understanding correctly, you're doing an off frame build. Yes, this tool is meant to pressurize the master cylinder to push fluid through the system. If it were us, we'd would open bleeders and let gravity bleed it out as it's not ideal to push air unnecessarily through old brake component's - if you want to reuse any of them on the build project. However, if you don't care about components, then yes you can use tool to pressurize with straight air to bleed the fluid from the system. If you have additional questions or want further tech support, we're happy to help!
Just purchased a Sabrecut micro ratchet , same exactly . Who is the original manufacture of these rebrands ?
Hey there! Many brands source from similar factories and producers. So it often comes down to finding the brand or shopping medium (online, in-store, big box, etc.) you prefer! Enjoy your ratchet 🧰
Do you guys offer lifetime warranty on those?
On this we do! Feel free to reach out to our customer service for support! www.arestool.com
Ever since I saw this video, I am itching to buy as soon as possible
Looks great but that bolt and nut should have been a spring loaded pin...
what NOID stand for?
Happy for you man 💪
Like cool tool for brakes slds of lima peru
Where do you actually get ARES sockets they are not available on your website or amazon
Hey there! Our socket sets are found here: www.arestool.com/collections/sockets
I found that if you thread the nut on (GM) the slightly domed outer portion of the nut helps keep the stud centered in the push cup, also keeps things from flying in your face when it pops loose as your laying underneath the truck laying on the ground.
How about narrate these vs high pitch sound track and too short video clips
