maybe the minions turn on you when you try to "undress" them during the change of equipment. if you think about it, you've put the helmet on the proctor and it was okay, but if some item unequips in order to equip a new one - it's then they turn on you

i really enjoy playing this game but i swear i get lost so easy. I also tend to get smacked in the head with sledgehammers and take over half my health bar of red damage lol. I can breeze through the first floor no problem but immediately get lost after I go down that staircase thing

Maybe next time you should come back with the revive corpse spell, so your minions can fight for you 100% of the time. They die? Revive them... until the boss falls.

At least Derrin died in a funny pose! That's a plus in my book. A thought - may the light armor run be saved by dual-wielding and parrying the world? If you won't use any thauma except, maybe, continuous mindsense, you might have enough xp to have the needed skills. Or just start as proctor.

I dont think I have seen an Eldritch knight in any of my 6 runs (yes, I count my runs, at least for now ^^) Where do you can find them? I'm in the crossroads and only missing the golem level and the Gentry...

I did a 100% pacifist run where only my minions fought for me. That's where I learned that the skill tree needs to be more explored to avoid the problem of minions fighting each other. Besides using "calm," you have to use the skill "trust in others" so they stabilize and stop fighting one another. Plus, resurrected minions don't attack their undead friends 😊

Hey Odin, first I want to say I really like your vids. And I have thought a lot about what I am going to write now. I am not writing this because I want to hurt you or out of an upper position. I just want to share my knowledge and experience with Examina with you... So yeah... my thoughts: I am watching your Exanima videos for like 200 to 250 episodes, and I have noticed with every episode you are getting more and more tunnel visioned about "how to play the game". For Example your opinion about Derrin, the way you tackle problems, etc. Exanima is a game that challenges the player to find many different ways to solve problems. So, in terms of problem solving, there is no correct nor incorrect way of doing stuff. But to me it feels that you have setteled on one way of doing things, which makes things less interesting to watch over all. An Example would be the lever with the timed door switch. After removing the pot in front of the lever and after switching the lever down, you can put the Painting you find next to it with the flat side and a slight angle against the lever and it won't be able to switch back. You can apply the similar approach in the labyrinth of the first lvl you are hating so much.... there are so many ways to solve it, maybe try figuring out some interesting interactions you can use to your advantage. Lastly your statement about Derrin and minions... It's just not true. I have walked happily with 2 Blademasters minions and Derrin simultaneously into the Golem lvl and my squad was beating the s**t out of President. 4 guys with polearms... even President can't stand this. They were doing friendly fire and they trusted each other enough to not attack each other. Just as a little hint, the calm spell also works on Derrin. So yeah... try to think outside the box. *Disclaimer, I am kind of drunk right now cause my life isn't the best but your videos are really helping me to see the good side. Everything I just have said was just burning in my mind, and I just wanted to provide some conmstrructive feedback. As I said... I really like your videos, and they are helping me. If my words were chosen badly, I apologize for it.

How are the game performance?

I have a 4070 super and run everything on ultra and get about 95 fps consistently. There are a few stutters sometimes when outside, but these are very rare. Overall, it's pretty good but could definitely be tuned up a bit.

The game is a pre-release and a free demo. They aren't looking for money right now they're just showing the basics of their game. Project zomboid has been around for 8 or 9 years or something? No shit it's not gonna be better than a game that's existed 5 times longer than itself

PZ is garbage intentionally janky controls so you die more often, counterintuitive, with soooo many nonsense stooopid game design choices to make it more tedious so people spend more time on it mygoodness, guy you are a masochist, eh?

Great idea upgrading the gambeson. I never would have thought of that. I would of seen it as none important but it does provide a lot of protection, especially early on.
