I was struck by your comment about how we don't often know what God is doing in the "mean" time! Whatever that "mean" time might look or feel or sound like, whatever the bad, sad, unexpected, or angry time might present itself as, trust in the Lord, that He is seeking and longing to turn all things to good for those who love and believe in Him.
