Hey, so I picked up a basically Brand new 2016 Yamaha stryker and I love it. I'm upgrading the stock exhaust with a Vanes and Hines Twin Slash Starraged Exhaust. I was wondering if I need a tune or something after installing the exhaust and if I do, what do I need. I need this done asap, because there's a big ride happening in my city and I need to be there with my bike, I'm their main photographer. I'm in canada BC by the way. Thanks.

samething almost happened to me regarding the pulley. Autozone and Oreilly wanted to give me the 3.5in (90mm) but factory spec was the 4 inch (102mm). I asked for the 4inch pulley but they either had to special order or claimed they didn't have it. Also the pulleys they had were flat across where the washer and bolt are suppose to attached which would of been impossible to reuse the OEM bolt and washer. The OEM has a... indentation in the pulley design as you can see in this video at the center where the washer and bolt go. Basically for my 2003 4.7L Tundra i had to go with a Gates because of all those factors of the pulley size and the center indentation of the pulley itself so you can use the factory Bolt and Washer. I spent around $43 on Amazon one day shipping.

Great tutorial - thanks for posting. I should have looked it over before I started. I would have seen how easy it is to slide - push the plastic cover on the electronic plate. I used a flat head to open the tabs - it worked but could have damaged the tabs as they are not designed to be spread open. Just a slide - push did the trick. Much appreciated .. well done.

Thank you so much for posting this video! The battery in my 2012 Equinox died in my driveway, but thanks to your awesome video, it was a easy to disconnect the old one and install the new one. From the tools needed to the steps involved, it's was very reassuring and is greatly appreciated. My Equinox is running like a champ again. Thank you! 👍

Factory pulley is 102mm. Aftermarket tensioner assembly mounts pulley center offset(closer to The belt) from the original with 90mm pulley. The smaller pulley has less mass and mounting it offset from the original means the outer edge the belt rides on is in the same position as the larger 102mm pulley. Same tension on belt. People saying the smaller pulley gives less tension are correct if you were to mount it on the tensioner arm for the 102mm pulley. They sold you the “3.5 inch” pulley(90mm) because the original tensioner is considered obsolete. Pretty sure aftermarket tensioners come with the 90mm pulley now. You can buy the 102mm pulley. I just got a Gates 102mm from oreilly but I had to specify I had an original tensioner or they would’ve handed me a 90mm pulley.
