Thank you for this, very helpful. I broke my right rib and elbow two weeks ago. It's hard to find anything on the internet that addresses rib injuries recently. But this was very helpful as I'm trying to gently do some stretching in that area.

i have had the cuffs for a week and am using per the instructions. They are great--however, although i feel the workout is hard i never feel a "burn". I have worked out for many years and I keep reading that I shoud feel a burn. Anything about this?

Fully tore my ACL in March 2024 playing basketball. Had minimal pain and almost no instability, so I didn’t get an official diagnosis until May. Saw two different surgeons and both said I should try PT and see how it goes. I’m currently 5 weeks in to PT and it feels 95% so. Overall, if your everyday quality of life isn’t impacted, I would try PT first before opting for surgery.

My hope with CJI is that the stream will have ads and that will support the athletes as well as the event. But I guess we'll see. I'm not going to either one because I will be working the entire weekend.

I am looking forward to seeing the athletes compete in the karate combat pit. It will be really cool to see. From a spector's perspective it does suck that the two events over lap. It definitely hinders the potential of both events with the athletes divided. Looking at the athletes perspective i don't blame anyone for trying to get that big pay day, or staying with ADCC to compete for a gold medal.

@@squid4451 better but still hurting. To be fair, I haven't fully stopped working out and training.. just reduced the intensity. It has limited most pulling workouts to light weight or different variations... catching hooks for training are a nightmare and jits rolls are way lighter and more of flow rolls. It has gotten better though. I've been using a theraband flex bar from Amazon...that has really helped along with different stretches and mobility stuff

Hey, Sorry to hear about the injury. I would suggest to see a Physical Therapist to have them assist you with regaining shoulder mobility and strength. You need to work within your abilities and perform everything to comfort...again having a therapist or medical professional guide your recovery is very important.
