  I use a vive cosmos elite running a res of 1920x1700 (ish). Trust, with vr clapping people or atleast keeping an eye on them is trivial.

  That F16 fought it incredibly wrong though, didn't use afterburner at all to gain an energy advantage over you, instead went for a rate fight and almost rolling scissor showing you the six all day. If that thing wanted, it could run trains on you all day and you couldn't do anything about it.

  Yea, practice makes perfect. Let's just say I've been practicing flying a couple of years more than the F16 pilot. The duel after this I told him to run passes on me at supersonic, the fight got boring real quick as it became a stalemate.

  @@schmuck_4444that makes sense. I guess for new pilot the controls are quite a handful and thinking about energy states alongside can be overwhelming and also maybe not exactly knowing what the other plane is capable of can be detrimental for winning such a fight. I noticed that often, that people underestimate old planes and make the mistake to delve into their domain, lower speed, harder turns. I am convinced, an F4-U 4B can make short work of an F16 as well if it tries to turn with it at 220 knots.

  ​@@haku1155I see it as the perfect example between the use of a swept wing and a delta wing. The F16 gameplan in the vid was to try to make me overshoot. But his little wings didn't allow him to do anything afterwards. The mig on the other hand just keeps on climbing. I would agree on the f4u, it was designed for sustained 7g dogfighting. Technically the "most maneuverable" fighter of the war only because it prevented pilots from blacking out as often

  There's an application called War Thunder Real Time Information (WTRTI), it let's you overlay more telemetry than what the game originally allows you. I have a tutorial on wtrti aswell as some other people, if not you can also find the extra telemetry on the "ingame map to secondary window" button in the main settings
