So I am the eldest child of Jeremy. And I remember when Sky moved in. I had just started college. I remember being angry. Like how could she do this again. Cause I grew up knowing she used. And then when I was 19 and in my second year in college, I found out she was pregnant with the twins. And I got really angry. All I wanted to do was scream at her. But I look at back then and I am shocked by my anger. Because now Angie is back in my life and I have a close relationship with the twins and I see Matt as an uncle and I cannot even fathom being angry at her like I did when I was 18/19.

Thank you both for helping Angie share her story. Hopefully others can hear this story and be inspired to get sober themselves.

I'm Luke's cousin. We actually have the same birthday.. During that car accident, I felt so bad that the seat belt crushed his intestines. I was in the middle back seat that day and didn't wear the seat belt. God was looking over all of us that day. I should have went through the windshield. And so surprisingly, there was a glass dish of cake behind our heads but yet it didn't hit anyone. That could have caused someone serious brain damage on impact when crashing. I love you Luke and if you ever need anything just know that I'm here for you.

Thanks for sharing. I got 7 months clean after a life long battle with using. Finding NA via zoom just 2 months ago is all I know. Found my sponsor and stayed clean. By the grace of God all with never walking into a in person meeting. True gratitude. Again thanks for sharing. Love all your videos

I do my best to stay on top of reservations as they pop up and talk to my sponsor and home group. I used to have one person in my phone that was my "if I ever go back out". I deleted that contact. What a sense of relief I felt. Recovery Rocks!!!

If I didn't know any better.... I wouldn't think you two nerds were ever addicted to anything but a couch and a Dungeons n Dragons game lol. But great job, thanks for the info guys. Here's a question... I'm what you would call a normie but watching this and being an introvert..... Is there anything you or anyone else could offer in the way of suggestions if a person in recovery was an introvert? What if one doesn't want to get together with 45 others and camp for 3 days? Or 2.. or even 1 day lol... I laugh but serious question though...
