Among Kikuyu people of Kenya especially in kangema division of muranga district are people with names which are clearly Zulu eg Tutu, muthirigathi(mzirikazi) etc.they have no known meaning in Kikuyu so these were clear immigrants.kikuyus are among the northern most bantus.investigate this

I am a grandson of a Ngoni man. His grandfather was part of the group that crossed the Zambezi river. Listening to this lesson, I find it not too consistent with Ngoni's history. For starters, the Ngonis were not running away from Shaka's expansion, but rather, Nzwangendaba was actually a general in Shaka's army.

Are you sure you're not confusing Zwangendaba with Mzilikazi (the founder of the Ndebele kingdom)? Mzilikazi was indeed a general in Shaka's army before breaking away from him, but I've never come across any reference to Zwangendaba serving under Shaka (apart from a wikipedia entry which I think is erroneous).
